Blower & Trichs--During Flowering

Okay, so my question is this. Would a high powered blower that is not hooked into any exhaust ducting, it's just blowing upwards towards the light from the floor... During flowering. Would it have a negative effect on the trichs? Like blow them off? Because no body wants that. Imagine that the blower is laying on the floor between two plants, facing up towards the light, and the two plant's lower cola's blow around somewhat from the wind.

Been on my mind for some time, help with this'll be much appreciated.

Hey dude im in your situation as well. I grow in a closet with a 250w HPS and cant vent because I rent. Anyways, i use a fan on the floor pushing cooler air upwards towards the light. Its been working pretty well keeping temps lower than without so I cant complain. And no, it doesnt blow off trichomes. good luck

Funk - Why can't you vent because you rent?

Mister - Nah, you're not gonna lose any trichs in the wind :D

I'm the biggest obsesser over details like that.

Do you think overheating could make fan leaves and the other type of leaves (don't know their name) fall off? And maybe bringing the temps down could reverse it? :chin:

High temps will definately have a negative impact on the plant. What kinda temps we talking about here?

Well, there is no temp. guage used, but the blower has significantly changed the feel of the space. The leaves are falling off and I've given generic fertilizers, but I think the heat is the cause.

Id worry about wind burn more than tric blowoffs. Thats what would happen imo.

Wouldnt you just be reflecting all that heat right back on top of the plants? It would cool the bulb a bit maaaybe with a hight powered fan.
