Those specs sounds very similar to the duct booster fans sold in the US (which are junk for using with a scrubber). The website mentions they work well with back pressure, but don't list any static pressure ratings - which reinforces my original thoughts.
Those fans really arent strong enough to do anything more than keep some air circulation. I have two similar ones and I just use them for general ventilation purposes since they couldnt cool a 600w digi cooltube enough to matter.
150mm
220-240volt 85 watt
inpedance protection
90 ltrs per second
(324 cubic ltrs per hour)
free air performance
max pressure 125pa
noise level 55db(a)
fan speed 2650rpm
that one will do the trick... per hour, depending on ur space tht should work fine...
Out of curiosity, are you in a pretty out of the way area? Id have thought that you would be able to find an industrial ventilation supplier or growshop in Aus...
check out hydrocentre.com.au....they do mail order.. i googled that...similarly google ventilation and you will get industrial sites that sell to trade and some to the public......
but tht last fan looks like it would do the trick to me-depending on ur room and wattage of ur lighting of course.
hope that helps,
be lucky
***EDIT***
I just checked out the rest of the guys listings from the ebay link you posted and he has some centrefugal fans-theyre the best apart from acoustics, ...if u can manage it id spring for one of those-it will be worth it and they are very reliable. If ur on a tight budget though the other would work
would love a centrifigul fan, but budget is a little restricted.. also, if this inline fan is too loud, I may vent it out the back of the cab throm a 'foam' boxed muffler.. it will probably impede on the performance, but that should still be OK I think.
