figured i'd start keeping a bit of a journal just to have a place for flowering pictures.

not sure exactly, there was a seed mixup but i think this is Blue God. by far the healthiest gal in the garden, a little slower to grow but very resistant to pests and mold. most definitely a keeper! will be involved in future breeding projects.

i'll get pictures of the rest of the ladies soon. fixin to plant some seeds for indoor 2015/16:dance013:

think there's any chance of moving these? they sit on a decent bit of heavy duty landscape mesh so possible by hand if we let the pots dry out but we're also considering rope and a vehicle to pull them into a garage. think it would be detrimental to the roots? it's been getting chilly at night and and rain is potentially a concern so it seems like a good idea to plan an exit strategy considering i don't have a greenhouse

yes it WILL stress the plant but can be done if emergency calls for it... extreme rain for multiple days or maybe a security breach...

the roots always grow through the bottom of my smart pots into the ground, usually have to cut them off the ground, which will stress the plant some (no biggie, some stress is good)

Grow is looking good man, id like to hear some more about your set up, pot size, soil mix, strain reviews, ect..

im growing alot of the same strains you are this year, so im curious to see how they yield in a bigger pot (im in 50-65 gal), im guessing yours are 100-200's

good luck on a successful harvest :)

I have used towstraps on 100s after that I placed
On pallets to make it easier lol

lol idk if im just high but this made me LOL hard, thinking about the indoor guys moving little 1gal grow bags in 4x4 tents, while were moving 100's of gallons smart pots that towed behind a TRUCK.... LOL

keep it up guys...

yeah the pallet is a good idea, i prefer my roots to grow into the ground when using smartpots but i have no real intention of moving them,,,

thanks:tiphat: 100gal smart pots but i ran out of soil around 80gallons in each, put clones out about 8" in the first week of june and honestly, i should have doubled the pot size because they are already root bound. i sourced some high quality commercial soil comparable to lightly amended bagged organic soil and amended that furthur with compost, castings, leaf mold, and a variety of dry meals and powder. i had hoped to go for a water only grow but they started to get hungry so i began feeding with earth juice and the occasional salt if a deficiency isn't getting any better.

i've only grown a few of these strains before but the mystery blue god and strawberry cough are both great. blue god especially very resistant to pests/mildew and just in general a very resilient plant that yields moderately well and with potent, tasty bud. i'll be sure to update as flowering continues.

Bigdank, thank you. 44th :huggg: haha

been considering recycling soil outdoors but ive read you just yank the roots out and let it compost but the pots are so rootbound that pulling the stalk/roots will probably pull out the majority of the soil in there.

should i just hack out the big roots and leave the rest to compost?

i'm going back inside so i'll have to mix up new soil and id love something fool proof. i used to use 1:1:1 castings, coco, and perlite but for some reason that hasn't been working so i'm considering a lightly amended veg mix and a more heavily amended flower mix to transplant into.

any suggestions? so many recipes to choose from, would really appreciate some input:)

lol not happening unless absolutely necessary. figure worst case scenario we strap the shit out of em and pull slowly over tarps with my buddys truck. next year i might have to double pot size and sit em on pallets :biglaugh:
