I got these as freebies from seedbay late last year. Awesome freebies if I can say so, I actually just grabbed a pack (which made me pretty happy, considering I thought that there was no more blockhead left). Anyway I got 2 females from the seeds I popped, and they turned out to be very different.
The first was very branchy, taller and had very large leaves that point upward. This turned out to be the SPG (sweet pink grapefruit, for those who don't know) pheno. The other was just a stick of bud, also with broad leaves. They both grew nicely and were very forgiving. This report is after a month cure.
SPG Pheno
I like this herb alot upon inpection it is very dense, and is coated with trichs. The smell is unforgettable, it smells just like grapefruit. Sort of sour and sweet at the same time. When smoked the grapefruit smells carries over to the taste, along with a light hashy taste. The smoke is smooth as butter.
The high on this herb is very nice. Very relaxing and calming, but with heady elements. The head part of the high is there, but it's not way too racy which is nice, its more of a calm head high. It lasts a while, and the tollerance builtup seems to be less than other herbs I'm toking on.
Other pheno
Mm mm mm mm good. The SPG is nice, but I'm starting to like this better. The nugs are a little less dense than the SPG, but they just ooze with trichs. The smell is musty, heavy, sort of coffee-ish, hard to describe. The taste is also coffee-ish. Not the best taste ever but the smoke is smooth.
The high? Oh so nice. Like the SPG, this pheno has a stoney body high, but the head high that it goes with is awesome. It's like your being pulled to earth and sucked into the sky all at once. Much racier than the other one.
All I can say is that I reccomend blockhead very highly. It's some AAA herbal goodness.
