Blockhead freebies - first grow

Here are my two blockheads that I got as freebies from seedbay. They are at 43 days flower, the first smells like grapefruit and the second has a more heavy musky smell to it. They aren't as impressive as I would have liked, but they seem to be pretty frosty so I figured I show them off.

Any guesses on how long I should let them go would be really appreciated. I've heard of blockheads that finish in under 50 days and others who finish in more than 60, so input would be cool.

Advice from an old grower...

Most plants will naturally show you when to pick them!
Look at your biggest fan leafs on the main stalk,then from bottom
up they will get yellower and yellower let them get 3/4 to the top!
DONE..
Another clue is look at the size of the bud and when it stops swelling.
THen look at your shine of the crystals,when your crystals are at there
SHINIEST then it is time or when that shine starts to decline...DONE!
Let nature show you!!

Go with trichome color, personally I go by intuition but if you're really anal about your pot, trichome heads are the most accurate way to judge...

Thats what I do too!!!! Good advice.... I stop using the magnifying scope so long ago... I think I will get one and see if I am right on when I think it that time....

maybe they arent impressive now but wait till you smoke the finished bud, it'll knock you for a loop.

How long did you veg them and any grow specifics? Light, nutes.ect...
