Two seperate ounces of Blue Dream were delivered to a house shared by several DJs and studio musicians, and they were asked to judge between the two.
They were told to observe differences between the two bags, but not why. One came from my home grow, using House & Garden nutrients and a tumble/screen dry trim, the other came from a patient cooperative, using Canna nutrients and a wet machine trim (Double In-Line Twister). The same cut was used in both cases, Blue Dream from Denver, originally obtained from Rocky Mountain Organic Medicine.
My herb was the winner with all samplers.
Both were delivered in a cured state in jars, so they started on even footing, but each quality considered left my buds as the solid winner.
Quite proud, the person running the patient cooperative is a person who I respect and admire a lot, to have my buds chosen over his is nothing short of a testament to his ability to impart knowledge onto others, he was the man who made the "Cannabis Station" downtown the place to "Refuel on Diesel", he does amazing work and CO will miss him as he ventures out into the world.
To be considered: The patient cooperative does not use Cannaboost, and I was using H&G's Top Booster, so while I was using a complete line they were not, though i'm told many people forgo Cannaboost with no noticeable difference.
The reason I even bothered with this taste test is because the coop is run in a very labor intensive manner, the plants get a lot of attention just like the ones in my home grow, it's one of the largest setups i've seen put out the kind of high quality I demand from my flowers, everyone who tries it raves about it, the only thing I think isn't needed is his insanely expensive Canna feeding program. It costs around $3.00 / gallon towards the peak of flower, I get by with H&G at just over half that, and with better or equal quality, it might be time for the coop i'm a member of to save some serious money!
