Driving blind
Sightless arrested for driving his car while drunk
An estonian blind man has been arrested for the second time for driving despite his lack of vision, according to the police. This man, 20 years old, was driving drunk, following the commands of other three people in the car. The police said the man could go to jail since he's a reoffender.
"We arrested the same blind man driving last saturday in Torvandi, near Tartu (southern Estonia)", said Marge Kohtla, Tartu police spokeperson.
The police asked the judge to jail him for 30 days and seize his car.
In Spain there was a case where a legal blind (declared blind and collecting indemnization) was fined for driving his car at 150 kph (93 mph).
