Could use all the help I can get!! Recently came across a great deal on Craigslist. Bought a Gorilla tent 4w x 8L x7H extendable by 1'. 2x Lumatek 600w ballast, 2 600w bulbs, 2 air cooled hoods, 6 in. Inline fan, General Organics Nutes set. 1000w MH ballast/2 bulbs for around $700 plus buying a couple extra thing.

Do I have a suitable kit to grow 2-5 plants and what would be a good nutes to water ratio, how often do I flush and do I use happy frog or get potting soil with NO! Nutes and add myself.

You could grow at least 8 good size plants in there, I'd expect a yield of at least 2+P as its your first grow, more as you dial it in

If you're starting you might as well start properly and read HGOs thread on vertical lamps and DTW using coco, it's full of all the information you need to grow big plants

Most people here spent hours and hours and $1000 and $1000 learning to grow, have fun! Lol and your missing a lot you got light and a place to put it but you need a/c to cool down them lights and ballasts, you don't put what kind of nutes you got and you will need temp and humidity controls timers for light Co2 controllers if your planning to run Co2 fan to circulate and not mentioning the more expensive stuff like power either going to run a lot of extension cord and not from the same breaker or pay to wire a entire 50-100 amp breaker you might of jumped in with both feet but you have a lot to consider and do still not to mention you still need plant not some bag seeds you found in your Bolsa and I would consider some high end nutes and a lot of time a patients. Again have fun!!

And in a 8X4 space you probably can grow 20-30 plants my friend has a 5x7 room running 2-1000w and runs 21-23 plants every time and pulls 4-5lb everytime and not small plants 6-7' at harvest

I have an a/c intake at top of tent, running down to floor, not pictures. I've read on Co2 a little is it essential for the plants life or will I be ok with out it? I have temp humidity gage.

All is for medical purposes. Not trying to yield that much maybe 5-8 lbs per cycle.

Co2 will make your cycles shorter so interms makes your plant grow faster but if you don't run Co2 you need intake and exhaust fans so you can keep the Co2 ppm at whatever's in your air my outside air is around 450 ppm what most are but I run Co2 at 1500 ppm but with a high intensive light and in a 4x8 the best growers and highest yielding strain will barely probably put out 2-3lbs for both your little 600w step up to 2-1000w hps and you can run Co2 and probably pull 4-5lbs if your lucky I wouldn't shoot for anything above a pound a light in your condition you have 600w lights and you don't know how to grow so you probably won't spend a lot of money of nutrients and additives. My friend once told me its not hard to grow pot I said your right it's not hard then he says but it's hard to grow good pot and again I said your right you need to know what to do and when to do it, so my only advice is stop sitting here waiting for someone to reply and go read a book find forums do what you have to do to always improve your grow area and harvest!!
