Blazeoneup hits the dirt again.

Awsome thread. One question though, what would I substitute for the pro mix. My lowes and home depot do not have the pro mix. Thanks for any input.

read the thread.. its all in there.. several times...
Peat Moss
Perlight
Vermiculight
once I had ran out of Peat Moss and used straight perlight and vermiculight and it worked fine as well... just make sure its real airy, and light...

lowes and home depot typically don't carry promix. good spots to look are large garden supply stores/ farm&ranch supply stores and co-ops.

love your skills.

Hi blaze great post. I have a question on your dirt mix I have read the entire post and am still confused on the ratios.

Is it 1 cubic foot of miracle grow + 1 cubic foot of the promix + 1 cup each of blood & bone meal + 10-20% add perlite + 1/2 cup of dolemite lime?

Help from anyone is appreciated.

Thanks again.

No you will be mixing 1 bag of miracle grow organic. With one bag of pro mix. I believe the pro mix is 2 cf compressed and 4 cf un-compressed. And the miracle grow is 2cf. I posted pictures of the bags used. Either way your mixing a whole bag of miracle grow organic with a whole bag of pro mix. Then add the blood and bone meal as well as lime!

I didn't suggest using pk in the last weeks. Although if you want you can. On the liquid karma. Nothing wrong with that hit them with the karma 3 times through-out the crop. Hit them early in veg right before flower and 3 weeks into flower.
