Blaze,

obviously, you have noticed some type of benefit from using HPS for the first half of flower than switching to the MH and Fluoro combo for the second half.

my question is really a quantitative one. What type of benefits have you seen? Tighter nugs? Quicker mature time? Better yield? Better Flavor? Better potency?

you have things dialed in, and I am really curious about that lighting.

thanks for your response

In short it gives me optimal results. The buds are descently sized, really dense very frosty, smell and taste exellent. They are vegged under MH which provides the optimal veg spectrum which helps produce some nice little bushes, Then switch to flower under the hps which provides the proper flower spectrum helps the buds get started and also adds a little more stretch than if you were to use MH, Then finished off under MH and UVB for increased density and trichrome production. This gives me great results over all and thats why I do it like that.

blazeone up cant be faded... unless he wants to. lol. keep it up blazoneup! quick question. With that urkle did it naturually turn purple or did you lower the temps?

The urkle naturally purples, My room temps during lights on stay 84-86f, And during lights off never gets below 78 so temps have nothing to do with the color...

Ok quick update, Im behind on the perpetual schedule do to the relocation, Round 5 is just about ready for transplant into the bags and vegged for 20 days. Round 6 is right behind it, and round 4 is getting close to chop time. I did throw a mom into flower to give me a little smoke crop in january why round 5 and 6 get going :) By the time they are both in the schedule will be right back on track.

blazeoneup - looks great! I really am interested in this system! I like the simple mix, and the fact that the products are widely avail. Somehow I feel safer shopping at walmart than the local grow shop... Might be the fact that I fit the description of a stoner... I am sorry to hear about the security issue you had, I hope everything is nice and safe now. I understand if you don't want to divulge any info about the problem, but was it a partnership or loose lips? Thanks and you are an inspiration. Legalize it

I got 2 questions, Did you pre veg for 10 days in cups? Also did you mix the soil really well, Skipping the pre veg or not properly mixing the soil will and could cause the burns, More then likely its one or the other. I mix the soil really well and I pre veg 10 days in plain pro mix and my babies never seem to be burned...

If they seem a little burned well dont get over anxious and start trying to fix anything just water on time and sure enough they will be growing great in no time :)

Also its better you post your questions or problems in this thread, So anyone else who may have the same problem will be able to see my reply to the questions, Thus preventing it from being asked over and over, Pm's only allow one person to see a answer this thread allows everyone to see :) :rasta:

yo blaze i pre veg for 15 days in a light mix and they were fine...im not to worried just wondering? i did mix the soil for a good minute it mixed really well,i figured they just might be a little shocked to the strong mix,but they should snap out of it.....also my first time using the bags so i'm watering like 3-4 days or when the bag is lite. So i can't get any more pro-mix except online but i did find some soil at home depot that had alot of the same things in it do u think it will work? I 've got a batch that i'm gonna try with this substitue mix but i will show you some pics of the mix of yours thanx....

Im not sure what the mix is so I cant be certain, If its got a simular texture to pro mix it should work though.

Blaze bro, nice work. You don't skip a beat..Btw, that right tray has the dome a little off track.. Heh..I just killed 25 cuts, mold broke out on one end and just ravaged to the opposite side. Neglect hurts.

Kind of a dumb request, but can you give me an idea of how tall, and what diameter your bags are? I'm supposed to have bought 3gal but I think the girlie behind the counter grabbed 2gal. Must've been my stunning good looks and gentle demeanor. I mean, im 24 days into flower so doesn't matter - but now I'm like I MUST KNOW. I'm guessing it's your genetics that let you flower so fast and fill in so well, my Crush didn't stretch much (30"+/-) at all in my soiless mix and I turned em at 18-21". That was a four week veg, three under flouro, one under 1000MH.

How do you feel about your mix for going straight into flower? I would like to run a smaller version of NorthernFarmer's shelfs. Should I decrease the Blood meal say 25%? It may sit around for a week or two before it gets ran.

I'll be adding Kelp meal to the mix (on hand), and using a little molasses every other watering mid flower through harvest for some K and a little sugar to give the beneficials a little boost.

Thanks bro, and happy holidaze.. Have you posted your average yields?
