Here's a few pics of the above mentioned cross I made. The mother was actually a veryberrysurprise (a freebie from 6 or so years ago, maybe an S1 of Somablaze's (RIP) Blackberry or BlackberryWidow) that turned a dark purple in the middle of summer and had an amazing aroma and nice buzz. The father was a sativa leaning Blueberry from seed I bought in '01 or '02 and was the only male out of the pack that wasn't heavily mutated. As you can see he was quiet a uniform blueberry. The pics of the mother suck but are all I have, by the time I remembered to take pics I was almost done cutting her down.
The offspring are 4 weeks into flower and I'm frothing at the mouth in anticipation they smell and look that good. Both have an aroma that I can only describe as mixed Jolly Rancher sours that have been "aromatically sharpened" if that makes any sense. Following the initial mixed lolly/berry smell is a sweet musk aroma that comes out if you keep rubbing your fingers together. Very, very nice stuff and these are also looking to be decent yielders which is always a good thing. I've cloned both and pollinated both with a male which showed no color but had a very strong aroma to him, the same one as the females so fingers x'd the next gen are impressive. Anyway, I'll be updating this thread in around 4 weeks and I'm expecting nothing but big, sweet, purple lunghoney...
