Hiya all!

Got 4 BW seeds ( Mr Nice ) from a friend and i planted one of them. Its been in 18/6 for almost 4 weeks now.

All is looking green and good, but to day when i was looking at it i saw little white hairs.

How is this possible? Its not an autoflower or female seed.

Happy off course that it is a girl bur was looking for longer veg. time.

You guys got any clue how this could happen?

Love Justin

It's called pre-flowering. Not too unusual. Those little white hairs are a good thing. Best of luck with 'em.

It's not flowering, just indicating sex. This is exactly what you want to see (unless you were hoping for a male...)

Yeah i know, but i wonder why that happend still in veg...

Because that's when preflowering happens - some preflower early (my Cindy indicated at week 3) and some indicate later - it's possible some indicate so late that people have already put the plant into flowering. Haven't grown a lot of different strains, but most have indicated by weeks 4 to 6 (when I let them veg that long).
Cinderella and Cinderella crosses I've made always indicate for me by about day 25, and at the 4th or 5th node.

I didint think the should show sex before you put them under 12/12? It s behaving like my JH Autoflowers....

it really depends on the variety and how much you veg the plants. usually, when they are mature enaugh and ready to flower, some varieties will show some pistils at the internodes. but they'll still be in veg.

now if they fully start flowering under veg light schedule, it's another story. they may have autoflowering genes. but I think this is not your case.

All strains preflower after a long enough veg period(3-6 weeks). Keep her in veg and you will see, they wont bud up. Males show preflowers the same way. Every plant in my veg room is showing sex.

I hope you find a good BW pheno. Ive been putting off getting myself a pack, but I think the time is has almost arrived.
Peace
