Black SPots on the Leaves

I have these black spots starting to appear on the leaves. this is only happening recently and ive noticed on my flowering plant and my young veging plants. the only thing it closely resembles is a ph lock but i check my water and ph doesnt seem to be the problem. any advice? i dont have a camera yet but when i get one ill show pics.

ok well now the leaves that are spotting with black dots are starting to dry out. its a small plant so i cant afford to have troubles while its delicate. anyone ever have anything similar?

Are they big black dots or tiny black dots? I have tiny black dots and after looking at all the infirmary stuff here on IC I believe it to be thrip feces. Ive been battling these now for two weeks or so with limited success. It seems like they went after my freshly rooted clones first now i just saw some on one of my flowering plants branch. Good luck

If you have thrips use Monterey Garden Spray, or anything with Spinosad in it. I got some of this and one treatment knocked all my thrips dead. Haven't seen one since. Organic and non toxic for humans.

There is also an excellent sticky for western thrips at the top of the infirmary forum list.
