Sabbath was the first concert I ever saw, way back in 1975. I've been a big fan ever since. And what a great surprise this album is. It's OUTSTANDING! It's old school Sabbath, hardcore heavy metal at its best. There's some great guitar work by Tony reminiscent of the first album. And I believe that rain and thunder at the end of Dear Father actually IS from the first album. And then there's the harmonica, which we haven't heard since the first album (or pretty much ever in heavy metal). All I can say is I hope these connections with the first album don't mean this is going to be the last album. I believe Ozzy and Tony still have some good music left in them.

If you like Black Sabbath or old school heavy metal, this is a must-have album!

Fuckin' itunes... Someone pop in a mic and fire up audacity...

Saw them last year, and will see them again this year, ozzy's voice is rough but man they still groove. Hopefully the new stuff is all in his current range and will kick ass live

Pretty sick riffs that for sure. Funny, think about Ozzy talking and you might not believe it was him... gives me the feeling of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Paranoid too, slow trippy song is what's on now.

If 13 doesn't satisfy your craving, and you're still Jonesing for some new Black Sabbath, you might want to check out Who Cares, by Tony Iommi and Ian Gillian, released just last year. It's like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple got together, and this album is their baby. I like it a lot.
