Black magic soil?

So I got the big bag of gh compressed coco and a bag of this black magic pro potting mix but have never heard of it being used in our line of gardening..
Any one hear of it ? Good bad should I just use the str8 coco and put the soil mix outside? Or blend it like I was Gona.
It dosnt sound bad it's forest compost peat and perlite so it sounds lite since there is no guanosine or meals init should be able to start feeding rite away. (Rite or wrong)
Just some other opinions a fresh set of eyes will u...

4 yrs back this was the base i used for my recycled soil mix, amended with humboldt basement and rock powder, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, fish bone meal, and compost, ewc...so yeah it's good.
if no npk rating on bag you should be abe to use ferts immediately...clones or seed?
i had issues with gnats that came in the bags so mosquito dunks were used until they were defeated.
oh and you could mix the coco in for better water retention.

Thanks mr rider was really hopin to hear good things about it really wanted to try coco run but can't afford the perlite etc to cut it with so seen this at big lots for 6 bucks a bag and figured why not
Thanks again I think ima give it go. Do u think the sand trick would work for he gnats? Or just get some dunks to be safe?

Oh yeha and actually it's Gona be both cuts and seed got a cross I made a run back of mr nice and cherry pie but mostly cuts of pbk and chery pie

hope you avoid gnats, they're not guaranteed. i never had to resort to sand mulching.
bottom feeding/water also discourages the demons. but my goto is crumbled dunks as preventatives as well as eliminaters. they're about 15$us now so maybe sand and bottom feeding will be a more frugal alternative in your case.
i doubt you'd have nutrient overdose being as you plan on diluting both the coco and black magic. iirc the bm has some perlite constituient(??? been years since looking at a bag).
if in doubt about the nutrient levels use less as application.

For sure ill give the bottom feed a look into and use the sand on top just to make sure I have a few SMS products layin around too
So since Ian mixin BM and coco do I need to precharge with a calmag like they say todo with str8 coco?
Gues it wouldn't hut but any to go and do it any huh... Good lookin out rinsing the coco now lol wife is fuckin livid the tub has shit load of what she calls dirt lol and big bag of dirt in the living room... (She dosnt under stand I Gota ph the rinse water too can't just run tap lol)

Yeah,,, my life got simpler when I could forsee the lil woman goin balistic and go pick up a free washer on craigs list. The argument that I can fix it always leads to fixin a bunch of crap. It's like a bad dream. over and over....

She's really touchy about her bakin pans.
Kitchen bakin, not baked bakin. lol

I got a couple bags of local soil mix at the garden shop recently. - the contents looked more like firewood than potting soil. If it dosen't look good, and smell good; I'd pass. Crappy soil can be a serious strain on your atta-boys.

Ha ha ha rocky yeha that's why I like this site,
It men not kids who can relate to growing with a wife not just a girlfriend, mine won't go home she is there and u Gota think like a chick sometimes if u want a happy home...
But not it smelled just like a promix and looked almost like it too more of a ffof with lil less perlite so yeha, they are Gona be tranzed to nite so that will give 2 more weeks veg then the show will start.
Prob Gona go 18 one gallon grow bags SOG style under a 400 with roughly 32inches x I believe 20 or 22 inches.
They are all tip clones and growing one vertical branch so I think that would beat suit my babies this time, plus I've never done the SOG method b4 and always looking to gain more knowledge

How did that Black Magic potting soil work for you? I just saw it show up at my local Home Depot in SoCal, and what's in it looked like a good mix. I got for a lemon and kumquat tree that I'm putting in pots, but sounds like it helps with all types of plants. But the cannabis growers seem to have growing and nutrients down to a pretty good science to get good results.
