Black Dragon -guess the yield-

This is going to be on going until November, I will update picts weekly. The strain is Black Dragon gifted to me. I was gifted this plant as it was picked from m/f seeds, so this is a seed - not clone.

I have done cuttings and found the resin to be very high as well as yield. 30-gallon pot, 30% perlite, 40% Oaktree compost, 30% steer manure. Homemade organic tea, auto-timer/water, 3.5 gallons of water - 2x per day, 1liter of run off - each. It`s currently about 7ft tall and about 7.5ft wide. so.. let the guesses begin!

I say 2 if that, the small pot is eventually gonna restrict your yield, growth vigor. Looks very nice though. Have any pics of finished or budding plant?

Any idea what the NorCal Purple Dragin is? I know there were some clones called Purlpe Fire Dragon being vended in NorCal last couple of years that were actually purple trash, a trainwreck x purple Kush x hashplant....fwiw.

Nice Info! EDIT! I learned more information on Purple Dragon, it came from Harborside in SJ.. It`s Apalala. I have another cutting I made of this Black Dragon plant, flowered it, and used my Goddess father. I will do a backcross and IBL of the Black Dragon clones. The THC is great and reminds me exactly of Trainwreck. ..You said the magic word with "trainwreck". Oh, BTW.. She gets about 9 hours of direct nor-cal sun right now.

Little Dragon (Clone from mother Black Dragon) ~ The seeds are: Black Dragon x ((Sensi NL#5 x Haze) x THseeds Heavy Duty Fruity), they will be backcrossed to Black Dragon at least 3x-4x... Smell: It STINKS like Lemon pinesol.

Honestly brother, I have no idea... I took a couple clones of this mother plant for breeding a couple of months ago. The seeded clones look great, plenty of resin, it looks like good meds. I need to backcross it a bunch of times, I was given 2 mother plants (from seed), one was a garbage pheno with no resin(maybe 12%-15%), this one is kicker!




Starting to bloom now, the sativa traits are fairly obvious. I would say at least 60%-75% sativa.

Flowers are starting! I will update tomorrow and maybe next month I`ll probably start a thread in the flower pix forum. I imagine the yield and quality will be excellent! 3lbs is a good guess, i would say. We`ll see!
Maybe I`ll make a large seed donation to Gypsy Nirvana sometime, I dont want $ and I`m sure people will love some freebies! She is GREAT quality and perfect for medicine. I`ll FEM another clone from her for about 1,000 seeds! Here is a smaller clone from her I FEM`ed. I like the color and resin, it`s pretty. Anyway, the big girl will be updated tomorrow.

Update:
It`s 7ft tall and 8ft wide now, remember, this is a 30-gallon container which is about 6inches from being full.. So 26 gallons or so of organic medium.

New shoots still opening with the new and bright green leaves.

Look at the leaves sticking up, nice.. 3lbs is a good guess, lets see! The pump is well tested and the physics are well designed, no problems. I only worry about October rains..
