What is the age of your plants? 5 days into flowering
How Tall are the plants? 9 inches
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Flower
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) LST
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) Square-shaped, 7 inches horizontal, 10 inches in height - see pic below
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Soil, mixture of biobizz all mix and quite a limey soil - shamrock seed and potting compost. has plenty of perlite, i'd say 15-20 per cent
What Nutrient's are you using?How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* AN Iguana Juice Grow - have't actually used the Bloom on these yet. Every second watering
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? Don't know
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? 5.8-5.9
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen
How often are you watering? Whenever the pot gets light
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Every second watering
What size bulb are you using? 250watt hps
What is the distance to the canopy? 6 inches
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) don't know
What is the canopy temperature? 32 celsius
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 24-35celsius
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) don't know
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? yes
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? mostly moist, top gets dry though
Is your water HARD or SOFT? not sure, ph fluctuates between 7.2 and 8.2
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? tap water
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? no
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? no
Are plant's infected with pest's? no
This Black Domina was doing fine until very recently. I flipped the plant into flower and gave it a low dose of Dr Hornby's Iguana Juice Grow. I checked the run off and it was 5.4! So I flushed it well with plain tap water, ph 7.2. The run off stayed the same. I added Nutriculture Ltd pH Up - 24.5 per cent potassium hydroxide - and the pH went up to about 5.9. Pretty low for soil but I reckoned I'd leave it a few days to see how it went.
Then all the new growth went very pale, almost yellow. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? It is very noticeable because the healthy leaves are a really dark, shiny green.
