These first three pics are the Sour Kush, starting to put on some serious wait. After stretching these girls are TALL. I will get a measurement for those interested. I did a res change last night for these girls as well. So we should say some weight gain this week and next.



These are the ones that will be coming down next week. I am pretty stoked with these girls. The three up front are what was supposed to be Bubba Kush, dont think it is, and their yield sucked. But as you can see the Ghost and Sour D in the back is killer. So crystaly.

What is the size (width, length) of your current grow area underneath the blackdog led?

Are you using a light mover, and if so what kind?

current grow started out 3.5 x 4 but the plants are pushing out and the Ghost fell and basically got scrogged wider. I will try and get more exact measurements tonight.

Yes I use a light mover. "Light Rail" moves about 1 foot. I would recommend having your lights much higher above the canopy then what i have, my plants stretched so much more than i have ever had then stretch because i didnt use bud ignitor like i usaually do.

Could you please tell me if the total heat generated by your light is less or more than say a 150w,250w, or 400w HPS?

I don't mean radiant heat towards the plants, but overall heat from the entire LED unit + its cooling fans generated inside of your grow space.

I am trying to figure out what fan (CFM) I would need to properly exhaust your LED from say a 4x4 tent.

I feel like my Platinum generates as much heat as a 400 HPS ducted out of the tent. Really hard to say though. So that would make me think a 4 inch blower, blowing air in on the bottom of your tent would be enough. A 4 inch can fan with a HEPA filter blowing in through the bottom port would be perfect.

So here is the side with the Sour D, Ghost, and "Bubba". The "Bubba" really hurt the overall yield but everything looks great and the Sour D was huge.



I started flushing the Sour Kush last night, and I will update with photos of those girls tomorrow.

heat is the only major concern i have... maybe i'm just paranoid but i used to get nervous when i'd hear helicopters flying around and the HPS was on

am i the only one? haha

Haha, I am in a med state with a card and i get paranoid when the helicopters hover over.

Heat was a big factor in the LED decision for me to. Just a heads up though, you have to spend a bit of cash to get a good unit, but i recommend em if the cash doesnt scare ya. You will save money in the long run to. And you can grow in the summer.
