I think that picture is broken.

How much does that thing cost?

It looks like a prop out of a sci-fi movie. I am skeptical about the need for it to look the way it does.

From their website:
Biowave machines emit subsonic harmonic waves that resonate with plant frequencies and cause the Stomata to dilate.

Lab, farm, and Hydroponics tests, have confirmed an average yield increase of 20%. No test has ever produced an increase in yield lower than 12 %. Brix tests done by Silliker labs have shown 15 to 24% higher Brix in tomatoes and other vegetables. Higher Brix means better tasting healthier produce.

Is there any truth to this? Subsonic harmonic waves? Dilated stomatas? Please tell me someone here knows something about this.

Snake oil. You have been scammed. You would have been better served spending that $1500 on extra lights.

Don't listen to the cheapos. Let me know how it works. Its been proven time and time again plants excel in an environment that's filled with music. This takes that principal to the next level. I know Dutch Touch on this forum swears by the biowave. He has like 18 of them for the 300,000+ watts he's running.

If you really think about it spending a Grand on something to test is really not a lot of money, every time you change anything, you’re paying to test something out, I have spent thousands & thousands testing out different lines of food, lights, Room Types, this list never stops, I’m not the only person trying out the New BioWave...

I second everything you said, DutchTouch is the fucking man when it comes to setups other then Jack, Dutch is one of the guys that helped me make my choice in buying it, just look @ it like this its only going to take a little increase in product to pay for itself...:headbange

i can get an attitude for far less than a grand.

biowave away baby. i bet some speakers and a frequency generator would serve as well.
but let's hear how it helps first.

does it tell you what frequency or wave it transmits at?

i'm interested to find out your results....

I don't know any growers who don't want to increase their quality or their yield. Everybody can improve, that goes for med growers, personal growers and commercial growers alike.

You could say that about any x number of dollars you have spent on your grow. If I didn't spend any money on my grow then I wouldn't be growing anything at all.

It does look like a joke. I will reserve judgement until I have read/seen some more.

Haha there's so much uneducated and ignorant hate.

This is something that's definitely new to our industry and possibly even the entire agri industry. I don't think they would spend years and probably 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars researching, developing, testing, and promoting the product if it didn't work for them.

The science makes sense...

To me the biowave (if it does work) would make sense for anyone working with 4+ 1000W light setups. As long as their lowest claims of 12% yield increases are true, it would be a no brainer for anyone working with 12, 24, 40, 80, 100+ light setups.

The biggest nay-sayers are probably guys working with 600W tents in their closests. Not to say theres anything wrong with that, but they won't see the benefits of dishing out $1000+ for some futuristic looking toy compared to a bigger grower.

Even if you paid the full retail of $2400 for a BioWave, a 12-light grower seeing a 12% increase in yield knows damn well they can re-coop their expenses in their first cycle.
