BioBizz, yellowing in early bloom???

Ive been using BioBizz All-mix soil, and veg through the veg stage and all was going well healthy vigorous and green, after i went to 12/12 and changed to the biobizz bloom, after about 4 days most of the leafs started to go yellow and wilted, and i just dont know where it went wrong, ... temps 75-80 and good ventilation..

anyone had this sort of problem using Biobizz soils and nutes???

My grow (Bogbubble) is in its last week of flower now, ive already cut 2
It looks real nice but i would just like to see if i can resolve my problem before my next grow gets going...

Is there any spots at all? rust coloured maybe, could be toxicity, if not and its just losing its green colour it should be OK...you want to see yellowing at the end..its just the nitrogen getting used up. dunno about the wilt...that shouldnt happen. Keep an eye on them though....mold creeps in when deficencies occur.

Cheers Morganic,

I may have sussed it out, through reading some sick plant problems on OG.. I think it was through switching to bloom straight away after turning em to
12/12, it must have been too much of a shock to the system.
Ill do it more gradually next time, well we live and learn...

Yellowing in bloom

Yellowing in bloom

Ive been using Bio-Bizz ferts all year on my indoor grow... Ive been following the bio-bizz grow schedule.

Im not sure that most people know that when in 12/12hr light period u should still give the plants bio-GROW 1ml per litre water along with bio-bloom & top-max etc..

Increasing the bio-bloom from 1ml per Litre water for 1st 2 wks up to 4ml per Litre water in the 5th wk and continuing with 4ml-Bio-Bloom, 1ml-Bio-Grow until harvest.
If the plant is a sativa with a long bloom period where the plants grows alot over a long period til harvest -U may find 1ml of Bio-Grow isnt enough & leaves will still go yellow..
i found this.. im now using 2ml Bio-Grow per litre water during flowering my NewPurplePower that takes 13.5 blooming weeks to bud!!!!
Check out.. http://www.biobizz.com/kweekschema/biobizz-growschedule-engels.html

Keep it organic!

Thanks zedhead3, do you give it every watering ?
I mean I understand it's per week ? I am watering ~3 time a week and give half of the amount twice and clean/fresh water on the third one.

thanks for you answer :p

I DO use it with every watering yes.. It does say somewhere on the products to use with each watering...
Then if the plants look too green u should lighten up on the BioGrow for a few days...
BioGrow contains the Nitrogen the plant needs in regular supply... Just a few days without can start the leaves turning yellow as the plant draws all the nitrogen from them in order to grow new shoots.

When u first plant in ur All-Mix or other rich soil u will find the plant doesnt need much Bio-Grow as the soil is full of ferts.. After about 2 months the plant will use most of the ferts in the soil and require regular Bio-Grow.(2-4ml per litre water) during Veg phase, just 1ml per litre water during Bloom phase.

I only use plain water if the plant looks TOO GREEN, like getting real dark green. This can lead to quite a few infection prob's if not corrected soon... fungi attacks etc... The same goes for under fertilising... prone to attacks..

I don't care to wait 13-14 weeks if it's worth it.

Bio-Bloom should be sided by 1ml Bio-Grow in All-mix. until last week of flowering.

Bio-Bloom should be sided by 1ml Bio-Grow in All-mix. until last week of flowering.

This is what Bio-bizz recommends.

Bio-Grow 1ml all the way in All-mix, Bio-Bloom start at 1ml when you induce flowering and increase by 1ml every other week(10days), Top-Max (Like the bloom, but all to harvest/chop)

Hope this helps. Check their web-site if your in doubt;)

Yeah your going to have problems using bio-bloom alone, I tried that and had tons of early yellowing.

With bio-bizz you have to think of it as a 3 part bloom fert, bio-grow + alga-mic + bio-bloom (Grow-Micro-Bloom) with a little topmax. Their fish mix is a straight Veg fert.

Im growing in a 60/40 peat/perlite mix, and my fert schedule is
1 tbs grow + 1tbs bloom + 2tsp alga-mic + 1 tbs topmax + 1 tsp epsom per gallon of water. Then flush the last week.

I use this at half strength for the first 2 weeks of 12/12. I know it seems like a lot of bio-grow during the bloom phase but heavy eating Indica's will need it.

Hope this helps.

SMBDY CLAIMS BIO_BIZZ REGIME DELAYS RIPENING!?!

SMBDY CLAIMS BIO_BIZZ REGIME DELAYS RIPENING!?!

They mean that adding grow all through will make leafy buds and delay the finishing... (Haven't seen this yet, and I think it's such a diluted fast-release product that it shouldn't cause any trouble at all...) I always use half strength in every other watering, and I flush with just Top-Max for the last 10days or so... (depending on my soil-mix of course).

I've never tried the alg-a-mic. I use kelp-tea or kelp-meal in the soil.

I had this problem when you give BioBloom + BioGrow at the end as they recommend (and remember they don't recommend it to cannabis maybe tomatoes  ) you give to much N and not enough P. and the plant not ripp good.
I moved to earth juice bloom in the last stage.

zozo

hmmm it doesnt seem like that much N to me, if you add up NPK for bio-grow 2-0-7 and bio-bloom 1-3-2 so that is 3-3-9 when you add it all up. I guess you could use double the bloom and just leave the grow out.

What sucks is that we cant get all-mix in the states....

i had that same problem, very leafy buds, i followed the 1ml grow alongside the 2-4 ml bloom, (starting low and increasing), my NL turned out very leafy from it, it would be good to be able to find out the ideal for ganja if they r not recommending it 4 that.

That fert chart is for clones. They really dont have one for a plant grown from seed.

If anyone if growing from seed, I would just use some fish emulsion for veg and then switch to the 3 part or 2 part in bloom.

I'd love to hear some more on your experiences with Biobizz product line, guys. How's it going with All-Mix, grow and bloom?
