No. Because of certain events going on in my life I am most likely going to have to pick at 9.5 weeks. The calyxes are pretty much to the end of the swell, 40-50% of the pistils are drying up, and the trichs, as you know are 100% milky. I am kicking down the light to 10/14, reducing to smaller amounts of RO water bottom fed. Trying to get some fade. Only 2 fan leaves on my 2 largest colas are fading right now, which tells me I am close to the fade I want. It's a fine balance between yield and potency that I am looking for.

Thanks for looking in. How do you feel about pulling fan leaves off pre-harvest? This is one area I am not confident with my previous method(or maybe I just need re-assurance, lol!). I usually pick fan leaves blocking lower bud sites the last week of harvest. I have heard of people pulling all fan leaves off. I am wondering if that could possibly contributed to some of the lower yielding crops I have harvested in the past.

Heh, heh.. I scrog... I've been doing the big and bigger leaves routinly but am
jumping in on the total defoliation from clone on
an a Hawiian Snow/scrog that stretches like crazy.. in a box.
hopeing to slow it down.. and it doesnt hermi.. so far so good..

I thought the lower bud was for 'bubble'? HA!

I am really interested to see how that goes for you.

Since I have such a small amount, I usually smoke lower bud when I get low on good nugs. If I had more, then yeah, anything smaller than a dime would go to water hash. I usually dont have any popcorn nugs because I aggressively "shave their legs". This "redirects" any energies that would have been spent there, to the tops, where light intensity is greatest.

Have you checked out my bubble hash pics?

"shave their legs" >>>defoliate>> same, just a litttle more 'aggressive'.

I did look for BH thread, cant find..
sho a friend the way.. if you would..

I happen to have some slightly immature HS from the seed moms that got polinated byanother plant that hermied.. tastes like crap/tarish, that could benifit from a little ice water and filtering..

Mexico was great...except Puerto Vallarta had no decent buds. Good thing I brought enough chem4 through to last me.

I was really surprised at my yield, especially with the lack of fresh air in that room.

I dont even sweat taking small amounts of weed anywhere these days. I worked for the company that makes the body scanners now in use. I know what they can see and I stopped trying to smuggle it in my boxers and just throw it in my backpack and let it go through xray. I started doing this when the TSA said the werent going to mess with anyone flying out of SJC,SFO, or OAK with MMJ. I know some people run and tell them they are mmj and get permission, but I just act like I own the place and its no big deal and it hasnt been an issue out of the 6 or so times flying out of there. So I did the same flying out of LV and out of Phoenix into Mexico. I only had ~ 5g at that time( I took about 10g to LV with me) and I knew they had legalized under 5g in Mexico in Aug of 09. Even before I knew that I had guessed they werent really watching for drugs coming from US to Mexico. I was right. It was an unmanned xray machine and it was hustle bustle right through the lines and into Mexico with my Chem4!!
Good thing too...There is NO DANK in Puerto Vallarta, at least that a tourist would be able to access.
