Big Tex WR x BB

Day 17 on 12/12. Was very sensitive w/nutes in veg, but in flower she eats quite a bit. Resin heads started forming after 12 days but no stalks yet. I've been looking for someone that has grown her out to find out how the smoke is etc etc. Added molasses this week along with GH's Flora Plus 2.8.2. Been using Fox's Liq. Bloom 1.3.7 and BioBud 1.5.5 since 12/12. I flowered her when she was only 10in. tall and since, she has put on an inch or so daily. Took 9 clones off 1st week of flower. They were small maybe 3-4 inches, but they have all rooted in my homemade bubbler. Going to mother 2 of em and veg the others for another week then 12/12. I'm hoping to not have to pay for any smoke this Christmas, so we'll see how that goes. I'm thinking around 55-60 days. Going to dust a couple of small bud clusters with some Groovy Grape and donate 'em to the server fund. If anyone is interested in pics, I'll post weekly or bi-weekly.

Have done a couple of BigTex offerings, WRxBB and the WR. Only eneded up with one female WRxBB but she was nice.
She has a nice flavor, the taste of the Serious WR with a hint of the blueberry. A good solid smoke, was fairly easy to grow, I think she went around 65 days-should be shorter using cuts.
Yield was good, didn't take good notes on that run, just from memory.
It is pretty much what it is, a cross of Serious White Russian and a nice blueberry male that retains the Serious quality.

Still have one nice big nug I have been nursing along trying to make last as long as possible - just a nice smooth mellow smoke.
I want to try his GFxBB, maybe after the first of the year.

Think I'll go have another taste since you reminded me.

12/12 Day 24...............

12/12 Day 24...............

7 days from the last pics. Starting to pack on some weight and trich's poppin up everywhere. She's started off real finicky with nutes, but now she eats like a hog, so I packed on some extra P & K and extra blk molasses. This Sunday will be 4 weeks of 12/12, so I'm excited to see how much weight she puts on the next couple of weeks. The clones I took off of her are about 12 " now and will start their 12/12 tonight. The smell is best described as blueberry panties. I've never had White Russian before, so if it smells like crotch crust then that's where that comes from.
The main cola is a little over 11".

Been 4 weeks and I'm real impressed with this cross. Packing on some fat calax. Pics don't do any justice showing the trichomes etc. 8megapixels, so I dunno. Flushed this weekend and thinking about only feeding for this week and water there on out. The buds smell Blueberry, but I think they look more WR.

Yea, that main cola is at 13" and still growing a little. There are 10 of those smaller colas, so with more vegging , it could be a heavy producer. I didn't veg. long. Only about 10 inches when I went 12/12

Big Tex WR x BB update

Here is day 32/33 ..Um, she is a beast. In early flower I thought her buds might be a bit airy/leafy, but now....Man, she is nothing but fat ass bud!She's in a 3gl.container. The main cola is still truckin and now is at 14 1/4", there are another 11 little colas and they are about 4-5" each and are about as round as a soda can. Trichomes are clear to cloudy more on the cloudy side, so this is going to be her last week of nutes and I'm going to just flush for 2 weeks or so and just take notes so that I can try and dial in the next go around.I'm hoping to bring out some colors during flush, so we'll see. The smell was like Blueberry ass and now it's like Blueberry and fruity pebbles. I haven't seen a smoke report on her, but I can't imagine WR and BB producing nothing but quality smoke, ya know? The clones are showing the same structure and vigor(as they should) they are in 1 gallon cont.They are still a little sensitive to nutes in veg, but she seems to get real hungry during flower. I started off at 1/4 strength of a modified version of the Fox Farm schedule and ended up about tripling it. Anyways, I flowered her around 10" and may get 2 oz. out of her. We'll see. Anyone that got these seeds should be real happy. I haven't grown a lot of strains, but have grown some quality/popular ones and this BigTex creation has certainly impressed me.I painted a few popcorn buds with some DJ BB & some with a PKA(SnagglePuss/BayServerFund) and the BigTex WRxBB male I have.Enjoy the pics.

Day 40

Here she is at day 40. I flushed this week, so another week and depending...will cut. I think she should go another couple of weeks with nutes, so another couple of weeks extended w/nutes for the clones, but I wanted some smoke for Christmas...
Real strong stalks and can handle the weight easily. Trichs are all cloudy and turning amber at week 5/6. Fruity pebbles smell with hint of blueberry. All the clones have the exact same structure as the mom.
I dusted some small buds on a clone with a PKA & a DJ BB. and they are developing well. Here are some pics.

Yea, that's what I plan on for the clones, but I wanted some bud for the holidays and harvested her last Tuesday on the 22nd. It could def. go 9 weeks. The trichs had just about gone all cloudy and started to do the lean. The temps in my area went down real low while I was out of town, so the other buds I had hanging dried out a little too fast. I was gone 4 days and came back and they were just about crispy, so I'm going to throw em the glass and hope any moisture left will evenly distribute, so that it will not be as dry. I will say, even though it's really dry, the buds smell so Blueberry and are seriously covered with crystals. I wish I had a camera that could take macro shots, cause it's crazy how much resin is on the buds. I guess a lot of it is from the White Widow in the genetics. I'm getting ready for a grow with her again, plus a cross with PKA, one with PPP and some seeds from the BigTex wr x bb that I backed with a Dj BB to add a little more BB. I'm getting ready to do a test smoke with the final product and I'll post a review later, but anyone that received this strain WILL be very very happy!!!
