Hy everybody
Since I still want to overcome my issue of hard water (EC 0.7), I came across these filters from a brand called Big Blue.
The carbon filter cardrigdes that are used to soften the water are replacing Calcium- and Magnesium-Iones with Sodium-Iones arcording to the descreption of the filter-cardridges. Is this method of softening the water helpful to our requirements?
Will I have new problems now that I have more Sodium-Iones?
Does anybody here have experience with this kind of filters?
I am planning to reach an EC of about 0.3. RO is not an option for me.
Thanks for any help
