Last grow I tested out my new Rubbermaid setup, with 336w of CFLs and 3 plants in DWC. Thought I would start a new diary for the next one. Last time went very well, getting about 4.5oz (.375g/w):
I saw some room for improvement and I've made a few changes:
1. upgraded the DWC tub from a small, 3 gallon container to a much larger 10 gallon container.
2. Went from 3 to 4 plants since they have a lot more room to stretch out roots.
3. Last time I topped once and then trained to the screen. I lost a few inches of vertical height by upgrading the DWC tub, so this time I am topping EVERY growth shoot to keep them much bushier in less vertical space as they grow.
The goal last time was to see if I could get over a QP in a Rubbermaid tub and I met that goal... now the goal is to get 6oz (.5g/w)! Is it possible? We'll see! As far as I know no one else growing in a Red Greenery style tub has gotten that much weight.
This grow I have 3 Cali O's and 1 Apollo 11 clones already going.
