have had this plant around for quite sometime also, shes built a rep as a killer commercial clone, biig yielder, with great stone. just dont have that tangerine taste that most look for in a NYCD plant.



this is the first flower run of the plant. a mom is at a buddies, not much in smell this early, right at 20 days or so. buddy has a cut of this plant goin and its ridiculous huge.



went ahead and pollied a few branches......Strawberry Diesel.........



some strawberry taste in a nice commercial bud is the thinkin with this cross. look forward to poppin these:D

I took my BG NYCD out of the rotation in favor of the Willie Nelson. I am not big on sativas so I usually only keep one as a mother.

It is killer though, I grew alot of it and it is just as racey and fuely tastin as it was at first but it's alot more mellow that it has been in the jars for a couple of months

You're crossing the clone you gave me to the Diesel? That's not a bad idea. That SC you gave me was VERY sativa phenotyped - you could easily tell the Haze influence.

hey CC, I mixed pollen from two SBC males and pollied the diesel. one male was a more sativa dom, and the other a 50/50 plant. the current crop of SBC has some very nice sativa dom plants. nice aroma and real frosty.

MsHerb, im lookin forward to the SD beans myself, just have a good feelin about the cross.

also want to mention anther cross in this grow that im lookin forward to givin a go right off.........Bubba Cough.....Bubba clone X SBC........try and bump the yield of the bubba, maybe get some strawberry bubblegum budz is the plan.

The plant BG had and gave cuts out where from seeds BOG made from Soma seeds. They where from a contest that he won and grew out. I hope this helps with where the cut came from. BG, thinks it a great idea for the cross your doing CBF and looks forward to the cross and the results.

thank you GDW for stoppin in, and also the plants origin is great info i otherwise hadnt had. lookin forward to the day BG is back and in his groove, miss the brother. sure he knows we all will be berry, berry good to him:D

Lollll, he misses everyone and will be glad when the day he can return to his friends. He is very thankful to have friends like everyone here at IC. He's always watching and lurking. :) I'll pass on the message to him tomorrow.

hey bartender, shes in a cut down 5 gallon bucket, prolly 3.5 to 4 gals. spent most of her time in a 1gal, upcanned to the current can, vegged there for a week then to flower. try to hold mothers in the 1gal as long as possible. try and rotate um out every six months.

really diggin those hummer pics, that plant produces huge as well. damn i cant believe you dont have a cut of that phenotype. phat gal:D would of been a nice commerciql offerin.

CBF; you never cease to amaze me with whats in your garden.. :yes:
how long would a 1gl bucket hold a veg'n plant? i have about 40 days until i flower.. think i can transplant them from there 2.5q pots to the 1 gl and keep them in the 1gl pot until i transplant for flowering? thanks..

hey mike, have seen guys flower a plant in a 16oz cup, lol. you could keep a plant in a 1gal can for 40 days. I pull my mothers out of the 1gal when I see root at the bottom pokin out. remove a bit of soil from around the sides and bottom with my fingers, just roughin up the root ball. add new soil in the bottom, and around the sides and she just keeps on a goin.

MsHerb......the plants knocked up, seed pods are goin strong.
