Better to grow indoors or outdoors?

Better yield indoors or outdoors for auto flower strains ?

My two options are:

1. Indoors with CFL's.

2. Outdoors in South Florida were the average high temperatures right now are around 70 / average lows are around 50. Sun rise is around 7 Am, sun set is around 6 Pm with about 11 hours of Day

Thanks

I always have to have both...outside for quantity , inside for quality:smokeit::biggrin:

if its safe go outside, if you think for any reason your plants will be seen go indoors

Thanks for the advice, I'm probably going to be planting some Auto Flowering blue Himalaya's, which I heard are fairly short AF Strains.

I think they grow to around 10 - 15 inches, so there pretty small and shouldn't be a problem hiding.

with only 11 hours light i would grow autos inside and regular strains outside. Autos need as much light as possible

I hate the un-known elements outdoors.

Caterpillars, bugs, stalk boring worms, PM, Mold, Bud Rot, skunks, raccoons, rabbits, deer, mice, rats, tornados, insane heavy rains, too cold temps, too hot temps, having them spotted, rippers, having them pollenated by native hemp.. Yep I hate outdoors.

I like indoors. :p

Ugh, such a hard decision...really is.

My main concern is the smell, because if I was to grow indoors, I would grow in my closet in my room and I've never grown indoors so I'm not sure how the smell will be. I don't want to walk in my room and it smells like weed or smell's different.

Like I'm not going to be having a grow operation in my closet, if anything I'm just going to plant a few Auto Flower Strain's that grow to 10 - 16 inches tall, you know what I mean.

You think I would be able to notice the smell?

I just did one Russian Rocket Fuel in my closet of my bedroom. It never really smelled up the room, only after touching/messing with it. Kept a candle going or plug-in air freshener and guests wouldnt notice. But you have to consider the fact that each strain is different in terms of smell. I guess diesel ryder STANKS, BAD! I noticed too that my male plants smelled stronger than my female.

Your call. I would go with a quicker flowering Auto if I were you. Something small. Yield wont be great, but the bud will be decent if done right. And you will be able to do more Autos in one closet than regular strains. Look into 12/12 from seed growing and read read read.

If I felt I could depend on the plant still being there at harvest time as well as being able to harvest safely, I'd throw out my indoor equipment in a heartbeat. But, you can't plan on an outdoor plant going: unnoticed, unstolen, unwatched by LEO etc.

Indoors, keep your mouth shut and the grow is guaranteed.

I'm sure my plant's would still be there for harvest time, only thing I'm concerned about is how I would be able to transfer all of the 5 gallon buckets into the field I'd be growing in.

The field is probably 2 minutes walking distant from my house.

Plus, wouldn't it be sort of suspicious going there everyday to check up on um.

BTW, google earth is good to search out your location

If tending is suspicious, that means there's people around. And they're around highly valuable, semi rare items just... sitting there. Alone, unprotected, out in the open... Not saying don't do it but, unless I had a sizable stash, I'd have an indoor grow to cover my "needs".

Indoors is the bird in hand. Outdoors are the two in the bush.
