Best way to seal out smelly buds?

bud->sandwich bag->vaseline->vaccuum sealed sack
make sure the vaseline doesnt get into the sandwich bag, try for a ziplock. apply a thick layer on the outside, vaseline will block smell, but my oh my, it would be ironic if it got found anyways..
short answer: dont bring anything on a flight
long answer: taken several hundred flights, domestic and international, and never had my pockets or socks searched, or had to remove clothes, etc. once I had to show that my waistband was clear (and he did a minor terry search style pat down on my legs but wouldnt have found anything if there was something to be found; he just went through the motions.

Several years ago I was faced with the same problem when I went on a vacation to Boulder Colorado to visit some family. I put roughly a quarter OZ of some stinking P75 in a plastic sandwich bag and twisted it up with several more layers of plastic before I used a lighter to burn seal the package. I then went to the store and picked up a bottle of shampoo, opened the bottle and submerged the package of weed into it. Packed the shampoo with my luggage and everything went fine. When I got to Colorado I took the shampoo bottle with me on a hike into the nearby foothills of the Rockies with my brother, cut open the bottle and unwrapped the baggies. The herb was a bit compressed but it was dry and the shampoo did not affect the taste. Me and my brother smoked several bowls that day out of the pipe he smuggled on the trip, and enjoyed the scenery

2 options....... first one... try some of these be prepared for multi layering with some serious contamination control to avoid anything a dawg might pick up.... like bagging, wiping with alcohol, rebag in clean space, wipe again...
or get a large bag.... a roll of tape... said buds.. put buds in bag, then head.... apply tape.... dont go no where..... now thats what I call autoerotic

try putting the bud in a couple bags, ziplock or something else that locks out moisture and what not, and hollow out a large enough candle for them to fit into. stick the bud in the hollowed out section, and pack the leftover wax in around it and seal it up by melting the wax so the candle looks normal. i had some friends that apparently successfully snuck bud aboard a cruise ship with this method.

How bad does Hash smell anyways? I thought it didn't have much of a stench when I was in Amsterdam. Maybe my nose was plugged with so much smoke I couldn't smell.

you guys have clearly not flown for a while. ever since 9/11 EVERYONE removes their shoes for security. thats not to say they remove their socks however.

hell, last time i flew on a plane i was selected for a random search. not just me, but my grandfather also. they selected a 19 year old and his 83 year old grandpa, it was kinda ridiculous. they took us to a small side room, asked us to disrobe down to our undergarments. we had to take off our shoes, unlace them, take off our shirts, hats and pants, turn everything inside out....it was a bit much. and god did my grandpa bitch. it took all of 20 minutes. they personally checked all our clothes and shit. my grandpa and i just decided to hell with it, might as well get completely naked, but they completed the search right as we pulled down our boxers. they didnt find a damn thing, and they caused alot of cussing and racial slurs to be yelled out (from my grandfather) so the enitre terminal could hear. all in all, i thought it was pretty damn funny.

I was always curious to know how those x-ray machines they have worked. I know they can see through your bags but can they see if there is something hidden inside of something like a shampoo bottle? Can it only detect metal? Any airport employees or xray efficionados (sp?) that could help me out?

I fly allot, If your going to sneak weed on board, hide it somewhere on your body never in your luggage or anything that gets x-rayed or searched. Somewhere close to the crotch area is a good place. If your a woman its obvious where you need to hide it 
one more thing If you see a dog, go the opposite way 
BTW, I never take weed on a plane but my wife has.....

Double vacuum-seal the bud/hash, wrap in dryer sheet, tape sheet to bud-bag with athletic tape, wrap bud-bag & dryer sheet with gauze (so it's soft on ya balls), wrap the whole thing with athletic tape, tape that package to the inside of your underwear so it sits nice & comfy against ya balls, and take your flight with confidence. You'll forget that you have it with you.
