Best way to grow Jack Herer

Hi Guys. I just received my 15 original Jack Herer, and am wondering how to get the best of it.
I got 600w hps an 5'-6' floor to ceiling. Would it be best to grow like 20 small plants in sog in an ebb&flow tray aprox 140x100cm or would i be better of growing a few plants (maybe 6-8) in just large pots? Please help, as im on my way to rebuild my flowering room after this gallon of coffee :chin:

I'm so excited - im gonna grow Jack Herer for my first time!!! :yoinks: :woohoo:

You said you've got 5'-6' floor to ceiling, but how much height do you really have from floor to the bottom of your light?

I'd go with your first idea  JH stretches quite a lot so it might be safer to check it out first and then decide what's best once you've had 1 run experience

Hi Alex-F
Thanks for your respond. I have measured it now. I have 5' from floor to bottom of lights. I think your right, that it would be safer to sog the first grow, and get this gentleman to know a bit. If he likes streching that much, well, he can just go ahead in the 20plant sog method.
I read different answers different places. Is it right that he'll likely stretch to 3 times his size after 12/12'ing him?
I also have White Widow from White label in the room now. How's that compared to Jack Herer. (You don't get much weed in my country. Most people smoke bad Hash made from cartyres and stuff, hehe. I can't even get good Hash in this area - only standard costing 8$/gr. - and it sucks. I'm looking forward to comparing a gr. of this hash with a gr. of Jack. Hope it's really a huge difference

car tire hash ? you sound like you live in france or uk :)

Jack H stretches much you'll know the best way once you have grown it for once.
I mean then, you'll see by yourself what your configuration lets you do.They get both high and wide, so tying them is a good thing. The Jack I saw was from seed : 15 days of growth, then sraight under 12/12 : it got pruned and still got about 1 meter high.
It is top notch weed...you'll see.

Yeah Lurker - you're pretty close. We make bacon.
I like your tone when describing that JH smoke. Makes my mouth water :woohoo:
Yeah sounds like a lot of stretching. I'll sog the clones after 2 weeks of veg, and will probably be able to keep'em down. (they can be 1 m. i wouldn't mind, hehe) The 600w hps should be able to get some bud further down the stem, right?

Jack Herer...lovely! I'd count those seeds again if you haven't already...Sensi likes to throw in 16 or 17 :)

No matter how you grow her the first round...TAKE CLONES....for the second run through. She will produce much much more the longer she can stay in a vegging mode. With the clones I would do only a few and do some Low Stress Training on them to creat wide spread shrubs. You are going to love that strain.

Have fun.

Get back Jack do it agin - my clones are going round & round

She clone’s well - MINE avg. 10 weeks & can go 12 / they have a great clear thought provoking high that nails you to the chair... :pointlaug = a very good daytime smoke for computer operators/musicians ect..

I got my clones from a ‘smaller’ pro-commercial Jack grower doing SOG he is getting 16-18 OZ's every 30 days off of 20 plants he keeps is a rotation – he runs a sealed controlled room with co2 & uses two clones to a bucket (20 gal trash can’s) & vegs. for 3 weeks from a cut clone.

Bacon should be a vegetable! It's just too good for you.
That's a fact - best good damn spice in the world. Haven't yet found a meal where some bacon didn't make it taste better (maybe cereals)

Thanks for nice responds, guys. Im very happy, and from what you're saying, i'll be growing these babies for a very long time.

That bud on the picture really looks delicious.

I'll take 2 clones from each of the plants before flowering to be sure, and i'll make a grow journal if people would like to see pictures. In about a week or so, i should be ready in my stealth room to take some nice footage.

man that picture, dude :woohoo: :yummy:
