Best way to eliminate smoke smell?

Ok ok, search isnt working and when it does i don't find any results for this.

I was wondering what product or what I would do to best get rid of the smoke smell after smoking, mainly in my car. It seems to not want to leave and smell danky no matter what. I have burned incense and sprayed air freshener in there and it doesn't help. I know a good shampoo would work but It's really cold out here right now and that makes it pretty much impossible unless i find someone with a large heated garage.

Anyone with ideas, products or suggestions would be a great help. thanks.

I don't know man... I have the same problem as you... but I can tell you that Febreeze seems to work pretty well! You just need to vaporise every part of the tissues in your car!

Another thing I should try and maybe you is a cigarette odor remover. Its somewhat a gelatin in a small cup you let lay in your car... it seems to work

Cya! and sorry for my english!

Try rolling all the windows down while the car is outside to get a good breeze through it. Thats what I do with the house anyway. A few hours I would think it would be good.

yeah its a very good idea... the best would be to drive while smoking so that the smoke goes out... but he could have the same issue as me... I mean... I smoke alot in my car... basically, I smoke each day and the car smell like shit... so I don't know!

In a car cracking your window slightly while smoking will take most of the smoke out of the car. Then air freshners or Oranges peeled and eaten will help clean out the car after you roll windows down and drive for 5 minutes or more. IF you are driving slow or with windows up you aint going to get rid of it easily.

a product called somethin like ozium works VERY well. actually, its overkill. all you need is a quick tap spray and it will fumigate your car. usually the first time someone uses it they spray it like air freshner, but its MUCH more powerful. it has differant qualities as well.

DAMNIT! i just typed this reply, but i had an error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

sorry i didnt post this in the first post butttt....

install air freshners over ur heat/ac vents, they help out a lot. especially when its heat season (winter), the heat does somethin to really make it smell. they sell air freshners for your car vents at stores, so its not like u have to become mcgyver or anything. with an ozium/vent combo, it cannot and will not be smelled by a human, just make sure you air out your car a lil bit before you get pulled over so it doesnt seem like you're trying to rid a smell.

im not jokin bout the ozium potency either, just a tap!

Ozium was developed to kill the smell in the embalming room at the funeral home.

One small tap. For real.

What i would do, if you have access to a ozonator roll the windows up and place it inside, of course, with you not in the car. Let it satuarate the interrior, maybe turn on the Ac/heater and let the air cycle, be careful ozone generators can have harmful effects if you are in the same area for a prolonged period of time. the smell should be eliminated after a period of time. remove ozonator, and let the automobile aerate before you drive.

P.S. I've seen people take the cartridge off a cannister type breathing mask and invert it, and blow the smoke into the cannister. The carbon in the cannister absorbs and traps the odors. Also I'm sure if you have left over carbon and some gauze or filter material you can make your own type smoke elimination type of device. Maybe we'll see some Diy's in the future.

Try one of these too: http://www.helloneighbor.com

I use them in club bathrooms...works great! You want to use a bowl and cover it over towards the end of your hit so no smoke escapes. Ozium is great, as is Orange Chronic. If you 1. use a bowl and don't let any smoke escape, 2. use a Hello Neighbor and 3. Use Ozium..there won't be any smell.

I have a bottle of NI-712. It is an industrial strenth, super concentrated orange spray. We used it ocassionally at the vet I worked at. It covers up any smell with orange. It is for rooms only, not for body spray or in enclosed spaces. Two sprays in the intake vent of my aircondtioning system, and the whole house smells wonderful. Not a hint of weed.
