best to have carbon filter on the outside or inside

Hey guys so my first plan was to go with a fridge but i would be having tons of problems with that so i have decided to buy a wardrobe which is roughly 6 foot high and about 2 and half feet wide so its not the widest but it does have pretty good growing space but i just can't figure out if it is best to pull air though the carbon filter or push air and if i should have the carbon filter on the outside of my grow cloest or inside, here is what i have to work with and using my 250w hps dual spectrum come today.

in my eyes its gonna be 2 plants.
i can't think if to use soil or if to use clay pebbles using aqua pots since i paid £30 for 2 of them, what would you guys say go for the soil route or aqua pots

Most manufactures recommend that you pull through the carbon filter but I have seen several people on IC who blow through their filter and it works fine.

Looking at your cab and gear there, I'd put the filter on that very top shelf of the cab, with the fan pulling air through it out the side. Place your intake vent hole(s) on the bottom of the cab and you'll have a nice upward airflow that will help carry the heat from your bare bulb reflector away.

^^^That's what I'd do as well. If you made a thread I will follow. Looks like out will be a neat build

Oh and on soil or aqua pot, I'd prolly go soil just for simplicity, but as long as your water temps aren't too high a bubble pot would work great ofc

^^^Exactly...with a couple intake ports at the bottom drawing fresh air in and up
