Best time for indoor growing winter or summer?

I just want to know how people feel about growing indoors during winter or summer... my favorite time to grow is the winter, only because the temperatures stay lower... but is there any advantages to growing during the summer, maybe co2 levels or something? I'm just curious.

I don't think so bro. During the summer sucks cause you see the nice bright sunny days and think to yourself, yor ladies could be out there enjoying them. But for obvious reasons, most of us can't do that. Winter is good, temp stay good, smells aren't as strong or at least as "spreadable". There could be benefits for growing during the summer but I always prefer winter At least for me. Christmas rush is good for ordering seeds too. And if you were to ever get caght or sell it around the winter's holidays people get generous amd you might come out better. Little things like that, just seems to make worries soften around the edges.

Me$$iah - thanks dude... back in the day i use to bring my ladies outside during the summer but then i understood about stress on plants lol the light cycle wasn't there... i got some grapefruit going now its about to be done in a week or so.... i love the smell they should making into cologne for men.... cannabi for men? lol

for security reasons grow inside year round, where i live my summer temps get above 115 degrees in july and aug and can stay there both months lol. i run my flower cab @ night even now in winter, during summer my cab never gets above 82-83 right now 77-78. i get dank rock hard nugs under a 400w hps w/in 1 ft of plants tops temps taken 4inch below light. key to controling temps in summer is strong ventilation i exhaust vent my lighting into attick seperate from the cab. i vent the cab via a 4inch passive not forced fresh air intake pull it through a 4inch can carbon scrubber and into another closet away from grow. dont exhaust your cab into erea where the cabs fresh air comes from, outside in the back yard you worry about some1 finding them because of smell or a cop chasing a bad guy through your yard in the city. in the country you worry about the dam deer and hunters lmao but you must also treck out get it stinking and all and bring it back. i dont know but to me inside in a cab in the closet is really best if your growing personal smoke i average 1/2 - 1oz compact nug per gal soil used.


with growing inside you can run a sea of green have more then 1 strain running in it and harvest some plants every 2 wks if done right. now that would be very hard to pull off outside for inside all it takes is a good mother plant of each strain. lmao im stoned could go on but gonna smoke some more and hit the rack lol

Maj.PotHead - harvest every 2 weeks? hmmm i have to look into this lol.... my GF is scrog trained... this is the 2nd time ive done the scrog, im still learning how to train properly and trying to get my nute diet under control since i have a nute lockout on this one... the last batch i got about 1.5oz in a 1gal soil bucket... who doesn't like talking about these things lol

I like the summer time,my window AC tends to freeze up after the lights come on when its below 50 outside,thank god it doesnt get cold very often around here

I grow in an upstairs closet. Summer months would be too hot. This summer i may move my grow to the basement but its very damp there.. I may sneak one plant into my vegetable garden. An advantage of summer is there are lots more growing supplies available locally.

Dan42nepa - if your basement is very damp get a dehumidifier takes care of my moisture problem.
