best tec for a 60cm x60cm tent.

Just wondered if anyone has any experience with growing in a 60cm x 60cm grow tent?
I was thinking of using a 400watt HPS light, but i think i am going to go for a 250watt HPS light instead. Would it be worth the risk to go with the 400watt light?
The other thing i'm not sure about is how many plants to grow. The strain i have gone for is Critical Jack from Dinafem Seeds as its a high yielding, short flowering strain. I'm just not sure if i should grown one plant in a 15 ltr pot or grow 4 plants in smaller pots in a SOG.
Any help will be great.

You didn't mention anything about the rest of your setup - it's really mostly about temperature control, meaning a quality inline fan and maybe an air-cooled hood. That said, I personally would not try a 400 in that space unless I was experienced and had everything dialed in already, and probably not even then. IMO a 250 is just about right - that's 62.5 watts per sq. ft, above the 50w generally recommended.

If you're looking at ballasts, you could get a digital that lets you run either a 250 or a 400 with the flip of a switch, in case you upgrade to a larger space later. But get a good fan, or even a 250 will be hot in there.

Yeah sorry, my bad. Going to use a 4" inline fan with a Rhino carbon filter & a desk top fan for air circulation, if needed i will also add another fan to bring cold air in.
My main concern is the number of plants & best tek to grow them in such a small space. Space has never been an issue before & as my lease runs out in 5 month i really have to nail it 1st time.
Once i get my new place i will be able to go back to my previous set-up.

Honestly i wouldnt put 400W in 60x60cm tent. First off all you will have a lots of work with temperature,.... And if you ask me you wont pull much bigger yields with 400w vs 250w in this box. Thats just my opinion, becouse i think anything under 0,5m2 its not worth it to go with 400W. I can tell you that i pull 5oz+ (150grams) in a 60x60x120cm box and a 250W, and friend off mine has a 400W in a 50x100x150CM box and he pulled 6-7oz (200grams). We grow same strains ,both of us grow 2 plants with 4-5 weeks veg. And he use 30 liter pots, i use 12 liter pots. I think i will be close to his yield with my current grow.
Btw i recommend you 4 plants and SCROG. Next grow ill do the same.

I am sorry to resurrect this topic. But I am also growing in a 60x60x150 tent and I have great problems in having a stable temperature and humidity. I am growing 2 plants with a 200 W CFL for vegetative (for flowering we will see haven't made the investment). I am having temps of 20 C and 21 C with 65% and 75% humidity when my mist maker is working and 27 C and 25 % when it is not working. I purchase also a extractor speed controller to control the extractor.
Could somebody advice me on what is the best way to setup everything together. SHould the fan blow on my mist maker? if yes should it be from top or down direction? Should the fan blow wind on the plants directly or indirectly? I am very confuse on how to setup those three elements correctly (fan, mist maker, plants). Should I consider to buy something different than a mist maker?
