Best sativas for wet and cold outdoor

Hello all, I live in the rain forest of the north west united states. Looking for some seeds to start a sativa family with that can handle the heavy rain and cold of the fall. It sounds like bangi and nepjam are the two best suited for me but would love to hear some more advice. Not even sure if either of them would be worth trying out but am thinking i am going to give it a go next year anyways.

i remember reading in the panama thread that it endured a very rainy fall in spain but stayed healthy without mold problems.

Not sure about Panama...i had a totaly different experience last season. Some cold+rain in the second stage of flowering and she was molding heavily. Could be wrong though...

My advice is to grow out the Bangi Haze because this plant is breed to survive in your climate and has all the resistances needed for a healthy harvest.

RESISTANCE AGAINST MILDEW: VERY HIGH
RESISTANCE AGAINST BOTRYTIS: VERY HIGH
RESISTANCE AGAINST COLD: AVERAGE - HIGH

Ya sounds like bangi is for sure one im gona get. Maybe even two packs but it sounds pretty stable so i will probly find a keeper in one pack? Any advice on that?

Nepal Jam and Bangi Haze are the best choices for your kind of wet and cold climate due their resistance against cold and mold, and their short flowering time.

Panama flowers are denser and this kind of tight flowering structure is more sensible against fungus, but I only have had mold problems with Panama when plants had worms, not much due rain. I'm not sure about your latitude or about other details of the weather at your location, but maybe Panama flowering time is a bit long for your needs.

I'm at 47.6 and receive roughly 100 inches of rain annually. Is it the Nepalese that gives them such good mold resistance? I am going to be starting to breed from this year forward and hope to create some great sativas for my area, which seems to be somewhat of a long shot considering the heavy rain that sometimes doesn't even let a mid September indica finish in time. But I am willing to get some longer flowering strains just for future breeding, so which other strains have the best mold resistance? I like the sounds of Congo, the Thais, Guatemala, Tikal, Voileta and Zamaldelica. I would be growing them indoor but then crossing to bangi, nepjam and hybrids from hell strains. I know its a long shot but any advice?

I am getting a pack of panama for inside so maybe I will throw some clones outside just to see how they do. Ill deffinetly be posting next year to let everybody know how it works out!

Anybody have experience growing sativas at higher latitudes such as mine? Would love some feedback

In the PNW you need a green house, hoop house or grow indoors for any long flowering strains. Even short flowering strains will have difficulty be cause of October wet\cool weather. Light dep with covers is recommended for outdoors.
