Best Production plant?

Well theres a bunch of best of threads floating around here, so I thought Id add one more. Im looking for the highest producer with the best quailty with the emphasis being on hte production. This is for indoor growth also in soil. Im leaning towards HOG. Thanks in adv for any replies

if you are looking for a good yield try "The Hog." Also, if you are looking for a more rapid yield try the hydroponic method instead of dirt.

Although I haven't grown hog myself, I have read many of the grow and smoke repots online. It sounds like getting that elite pheno is a shot in the dark and the majority of the seeds are mediocre.

If you go with the HOG, plan on ordering at least a few packs of seeds to see if you can find that elite pheno. Best of luck.

try northern lights and crosses with nl. very good prices available, yields and quality are almost always excellent<depending on seed co.> i have tried atomic<9 oz. off two plants> b.c.s.c. nl#5<3 oz.-1 plant-(200 watts)> and big blue, also b.c.s.c. <3 oz. 1 plant 200watts> the hog is an awesome strain if you get a hogsbreath clone here in san diego, but i have not grown th seeds version, only know what i have seen here on this sight. good luck!

Highest yield and best quality, huh? It's like if you walked into a bookstore and asked for the "Da Vinci Code"

Sensi seeds Big Bud is the best Big Bud around IMO, and there are a few honorable BB crosses out there too, such as Federation seeds' Big Mac and Mr Nice's Critical Mass.

THSeeds Heavy Duty Fruity is a heavy yielder of good quality, Powerplant is an inbred strain with an excellent yield.

Quality and quantity rarely go hand in hand, life would be to sweet if it did.

for high Yields take some commercial Afghani or afghani/skunk cross ...and sog them:)
for high Quality go on with the Dj'short strains or a strong haze hybrid:)
...the only good combination that i remember of nice yields an very fine quality is AK-47 from Simon (@Seriousseeds)

If you are looking for heavy yielder + potency, then check out Dutch Passions Power Plant!!! It is a nice strain that is easy to grow & maintain and it produces these huge spear nugs if you give her enough light(yeah, she is definitely a light feeder!) + it is good price compared to quality!!!

Here is a link to Dutch Passions Power Plant:

I would have to agree with XyZ on the AK-47 from serious seeds. If you are going to grow in soil and can give them 8 weeks to veg for a tree grow, you can get up to 16 oz. per plant, given about 50watts per sq. ft. Be prepared for a 6'+ plant. As The G33k said, you will get faster growth with hydro.

Super Skunk or any Afghan/Skunk should do the job. Theres many like Shit, Critical Mass, Mazar, Warlock, etc.

I havent grown AK47 but I did grow AK48 once (Nirvana's version of AK47) and that was a real pleasant surprise - _massive_ yield, gorgeous crystally buds with a dark brown Thai kinda look to them, good potency, nice sativa-dominant high, and a calyx-to-leaf ratio so good that harvest trimming was more enjoyable than any other plant I've ever grown (some plants are just plain annoying to trim, but this was actually enjoyable due to the high yield and calyx-to-leaf ratio). I will definately be growing it again soon! From seed I only vegged it for 3 weeks, then it was in 12/12 for something like 9 or maybe 10 weeks under a single 600w HPS and I ended up with just over 6oz of dry bud which is my best single-plant yield ever alongside Sour Diesel which I also got 6oz from, but that took one or two weeks longer still. There are some AK48 photos in my gallery :)

???????? Northern Lights is a short and squat plant, yield nothing to write home about. NL is about quality not quantity

Where'd you get that? NL was bred to be an ideal indoor plant in all respects - low odor, high potency, compact growth with above average yields...

Not like Wikipedia is the end-all be-all info source but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Lights_(strain)

For yield, Serious Seeds Chronic. Geesh, I didn't know AK-47 yielded that well, man I gotta pop those beans!

I have some Hog myself that I have been reluctant to try. As far as Northern Lights, That has been stabilized and bred mainly for commercial applications based on its yield capabilities, resistance to mold and other diseases, as well as ease of growth. Although the Thc is not that of the niche strains on the market it is strictly bred for mass production.

Chronic yields WAY more than AK-47. I've done both from Serious Seeds, see my gallery, and they are both good. The AK is probably a little better quality wise, but not much. That's not saying Chronic is bad though, I liked it quite a bit and the yield is the best. I got a top bud the size of a gallon jug from a plant that was only 30" tall and yielded almost a QP.
