Certainly not as much as 8 hrs of good strong sunshine, hey FP?.

With all things being equal, genetics is the better predictor of potential yeld/bud size in my view.
Once a good yeilder is selected, the growers only goal is to provide the npk the plant requires to fulfill its natrural potential.

The source for the needed npk is irrelevant. Doo Doo or high dollar fancy nutes perform at the same level, but neither as well as rich seasoned compost.

Thats what I think anyway....

Totally agree, I messed about giving bigbud and overdrive to my plants last year and didn't have any noticable effect. This year I'm keeping things simple and will be sticking to time released nutes. As Silverback has already said, choose the right genetics, a site with adequate light and keep them as healthy as possible. Don't be sucked in by overpriced nutes claiming to give you melon sized buds, you'd be much better off spending the cash on soil conditioners imo

besides loads of castings and guano, i am gonna try and do nutrient spikes homemade with all organic goodies. Its the true living organics method that the dude "the rev" writes about in skunk. might be cool if it works, just pack up a bunch of spikes and plunge those bad boys in the soil

Silverback states it all very well indeed! pk 13/14 works well, but outdoors i would be using organic or guano even piss & molasses*

Guano in tea and dry form worm castings and i also like a one part like dyna gro or general hydros flora nova , If i could only choose one i would go withthe nova but its really a toss up with nova and guano peace:joint:
chemicals :dueling: organics

can you add budswell from guano company with synthetic fertilizer to fatten up flowers..? Also what weeks and what do you,my good friends, recommend for a feeding reg? First time synthetic user and scared to burn. thanks for the help..

Pure ashes from bones to wood! Nothing beats ash it improves life in the soil and slowly release nutrients! Almost immposible to overtfertilze if applied to the soil 3-4 weeks before planting but will also give major benefits in only small amounts.

In the amazon they have found that techniques like this will continue to improve the soil for hundreds if not thousands of year after it is applied.

Also everyone is sayin add this or that type of manure. Im saying all manure that is non carnivore is probably good fertilizer if composted for 6-12 months:)

Cow manure @ $2 a bag and lots of sunshine will grow the biggest buds you ever saw. Maybe throw in some peat if you have clay soil.
