Best Nutient line for soil

I was wondering what you guys think is the best nutrient line or combination of products that would grow the best indoor soil garden. It doesnt have to be organic, be one specific line, it can be a mix of products from different lines. What do you think it is Botanicare, Biobizz, bcuzz, GH, ect..... Any input greatly appreciated.

I like PBP too. I use their (Botanicare) Liquid Karma too, but that stuff is definitely not pH friendly. It's an easy fix though, just keep some pH up on hand.

I used to do all that pHing stuff. But ever since I started putting in some dolomitic lime in the mix before planting, pH and Mg def. is a thing of the past.

i use foxfarm ocean forrest soil as a base. great stuff but kind of heavy so i lighten it with the warrior and more perlite.

40% ocean forrest
30% light warrior
30% extra chunky perlite

i add extra dolomite lime @ 1tbs per gallon because i don't think they add enough oyster shell lime. this basically guarantees good ph.

if i'm looking at long veg periods i ammend further with bone meal & blood meal at a 2:1 ratio. usually between 2tsp:1tsp and 2tbs:1tbs per gallon never more. i like to mix up all my soil a few weeks in advance and keep pulling from the same mix everytime i transplant.

for ferts i use mostly botanicare stuff. strengths i use vary but usually only 1/4 to 1/2 the listed dose. you have to know what the flowers you're growing want/need and balance liquid feedings with your earlier ammendments to avoid problems. thats the tricky part.

pbp grow & soil bloom formulas
liquid karma
cal/mag+

i use blackstrap molasses as a carbo/sweet product during flower.

i also use hygrozyme during veg and early flower but cut it out near the end.

I'm going to go against the grain here. Screw the packaged nutes for soil. All you need is.....

Bone Meal
Blood Meal
Kelp Meal

mixed in with the soil. Don't have to mix up them nasty nutes.

After years of using fox farm grow big which is an excellent fert, this grow I've discovered that pure blend pro does an even better job of vegging my blockhead,I didnt think it were possible.I think the difference is you can use PBP every time you water, you cant do that with grow big although if used correctly its a great fert. This PBP took me by surprise, totally.I'm going to use it throughout the veg stage, then when I switch to 12/12 when the plants are bigger and less succeptible to burn, use the FF grow big the first 2-3 weeks of flower during the "stretch".After years I'm switching to PBP

I have been using Fox Farm nutes for awhile now but I think there are better nutrients. I will be trying Pure Blend Pro with Liquid Karma for my next grow. I have heard good things. I will still be sticking with the FF soils though.

Lol, Sirharry said it best! But I recommend y'all check out OMRI website first if you want 100% organics. Neither PBP nor Fox Farm is 100% organic. Only certain Earth Juice products are 100% organic as well. Botanicare claims that the only reason their not certified organic is because of their humates extraction process which incorporates potassium hydroixde. But hey there products are great and it doesn't stop me from using them.

Biobizz nutrients are an excellent choice. Been using them for 7 years, dead easy to mix up, and never had any deficiency problems. I am slightly biased as the only other organic product line I have used was by Advanced Nutrients. They were very good, but they did have an unexpected side effect, well in relation to my situation. They caused a marked increase in the degree of stretch when flipping to flowering. I am fairly certain it was down to the nutrients as I grew clones side by side, feeding 4 plants with AN, 4 plants with Biobizz. Well, that was my experience with AN, others may have had superior results. This was a problem for ME, as I have extremely limited clearance. Yield was marginally improved, but that's not really a factor for me.
Anyway blah over, biobizz gets my vote.

I may have to try the bloom after liking the grow so much,I've been stuck on the tiger for ions though that would be a hard habit to break.

I usually feed them at about 75% recommended strength, and feed them every other watering instead of the recommended every single watering. I also give them the LK at 75% dosage, every time they receive nutes. I would rather give them too little than too much, and since I don't have a PPM or EC meter (only pH) I give them less than suggested.

Anyone ever used floranova series for soil? I know its a hydro nute line, but I used it one run and did the same strains the next run with biobizz. I found that the floranova buds smelled WAY more after cut(almost made me sick while manicuring), had a stronger taste(although biobizz buds were sweeter, could have been the botan.care sweet, which I started using ), yielded better, and also seemed more potent, could be me getting immune to the strain though. The biobizz buzz buds burned better, naturally. I was using fish mix in the biobizz line, and I think it made all the strains taste almost the same.

I really am impressed with the Botanicare PBP line with sweet, hygrozyme and subculture.

I did a side by side with biobizz and found more vigor yeild and all around plant health with the PBP vs. biobizz.. Also you can't beat similar results without paying 500 or more dollars to run a cycle of biobizz.

I like to FF ocean forest soil and also like to add a dry mix of fish meal, kelp meal, micronized rock phosphate, bone meal, and miccoriza fom good old down to earth distributers, i got this organic dry mix recipe from territorial seed companys catalog, grows great garden veggies outdoors & works well as a potting soil supplement, FF is pretty dense so a 5 gal pail of perilite i add to each bag & 2 cups of the dry mix, this will grow and bloom out without anything else but i can get bigger yeilds by also using FF tiger, big bud & liquid karma, i use a tablespoon to a Gallon of each, but watch the tiger it's not organic and is hot, best to start with a teaspoon and see how tolerant your strain is or leave it out entirely, i also like BIG pots, 10 G, my belief is bigger pots make for bigger yeilds. I have been doing some worm farming for the last year and will be brewing up a batch of worm tea soon, if it's the shizzle i'll be leaving the store bought nutes behind, might even consider making it and distriubuting locally, from my reading on it it's best used within 24 hrs of brew completion, we'll soon see....
