Normally I run FFGB, FFBB, FFTB, LK, Cal-Mag & Banana Manna for coco...but I've accrued plenty of others over the years and they are great for backups.

The brand doesn't really matter as much as how it's used...almost any nutes out on the market will work great if used correctly.

A little nute and critter prevention porn for ya'll :D

i have read somewhere that miracle-gro nutes arent the best when growing mj. n ps u got a SH1T LOAD of nutes. lol

any 1 else please leave your prefered nute formulas.

Are you looking for a simple two or three part nute line? I like pure blend pro alot. Mostly organic and doesn't require any other nutes, it's not very high priced and if you want you can get the regular pure blend for like $20 a gallon each for bloom and veg.

ye im lookin for something simple, pretty cheap and works good. something they would sell in canada preferably in a walmart/rona/homedepot/canadian tire etc or ship here.

Your not going to find any good nutrients in those places. You may find some mg or similar chemical fertilzers and at best maybe some bone meal and blood meal. Nutrients that are good aren't going to be super cheap, probably $30+ depending on the size of the grow. Just order some online or on ebay or something. Or find a hydroponics store near you.

Order your nutes online and get the rest locally. GH has a new one part mix that is a breeze, FloraNova. 1tsp a gallon and feed, it doesn't get simpler.

I had great results with Promix HP (right out of the bag), Promix HP with my own added earthworm castings and more perlite, and a few GH soil ammendements: Diamond Black, Rare Earth, and Sub Culture. Both gave me similar results... so I probably won't spent on the extra soil ammendements next time.

30 or 40 bucks for a big bale of Promix (3 or 4 cu ft I think they are) seems to be a decent price for me... I always have plenty of extra for the legal potted plants too. :)

I've always read Lowes/Depot sells Promix but I never find it there and get it at local shops, plenty around me.

Hey cron if you can get to a hydro shop get the flora nova line..., For the whole set of bottles it's about 200 bucks but you can get away with just the grow and bloom.... The only thing i would use from any of those stores would be schultz brand ferts.. I flowered a plant off last year with the african violet flowering fert and it turned out quite alright....
Pro-Mix or sunshine mix for soil.... If using sunshine add shitloads of perlite and 1tbsp of lime per gallon... I found it was a little light...
If using pro-mix just add a bit of perlite...
Would type more but got a baby in my arms and it took me 5 mins to type with one hand.... :D

i used foxfarm bigbloom and tigerbloom my last grow...wasn't impressed with it as it whacked out my pH. i was also not using dolomite at the time and bagseed genetics.

this run i have real genetics, growing bigbud, white rhino, mmm#2 freebie, as well as two plants from a really good bag of nug that had two seeds in it.

i'll be using both the foxfarm line as well as botanicare's pure blend pro bloom and liquid karma. the plan here is to use only foxfarm on some of the plants and only the pureblend on the others to do a comparison. running dolomite lime will hopefully help my pH problems of my last grow.
