Best MH bulb for digital ballasts

Im looking to purchase a MH bulb for my Lumetek ballast ASAP.I was thinking about going with Solarmax,but not sure if theyre the best.Any help would be really appreciated guys.Gotta get these babies veggin.Thanks!!!!

I would go with Solarmax or Ushio's conversion bulbs.Im not sure how well Sunmaster bulbs perform in digi ballasts.

Ive been using hortilux eye 400s and 1ks for a while now with my nextgen ballasts and have zero complaints. quality bulbs.

I also use Eiko bulbs as backups, and on a few runs here and there. no complaints either.

Hortilux EYE's are the best bulbs I have ever used. Period.

i use 30 and 40 amp intermatic timers.

u notice the cheaper the bulb the better the life in digis in general.

i love horti's, solar maxes aere my faves. but i tend to use phillips or silvania agri bulbs instead, way more life and quality i find,

reason I ask is for my 2000Kw grow I love my solarmax bulbs also on a digi ballast, but Ive been using the cheap analog 110v timers.
I got a cap digi timer and they said not to use it in conjunction with a mag ballast?
it could blow the bulb...
I used it with a mag ballast and it blew my brand new solarmax bulb in a couple days 1st.
i never saw the warning on the instructions so my bad, good news i sent it back and the seller sent it
to the manf. and i gots me a new one

I use digilux by C.A.P. on all levels 4-6-1000k. The only bulb thats different which is an eye hortilux 1000k hps. Digilux puts out the same amount of lumens as the eye hortilux and I have not had any probs out of them, they are also cheaper than hortilux....I know sites that refuse to sell hortilux because of the ridiculous mark up sham. Digilux is just as good and they dont fleece you either.

Proof.....This is probably the cheapest place to buy bulbs if not one of the cheapest.....

With business practices like that, I would never purchase a hortilux bulb.....the one I have, I recieved free with my 1000w solistek matrix ballast purchase so I didnt put money in thier pocket.
