Best medium for mothers

Hello, I grow with hydro so I'm not that familiar with soil techniques. I wanted to asked growers who use mediums for growing which is the best type for keeping mothers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

For what is worth, the cuts are:

Blueberry
Master Kush
Medijuana
Amensia Kush

I will be using some sort of flouro for lighting and RO water

Here's my Harlequin mum...

She's in a 5 gallon bucket underneath 2 23w flouros without a hood... just bare hanging.

R/O water and Maxibloom only and she loves it!

I suck at soil and other 'mediums' so I'm unable to help you there.

Perlite works extremely well..
feeds the same as hydro.

Doneit... WOW. Did you just put a cutting in the perlite until it roots then just grow it out as a mother?

damn doneit! u really done done it!! that is a beautiful mom right there. I have never seen straight perlite as a medium but after this I'm thinking our next mom might have to get the straight P treatment and see how we can [ull it off. We're very interested in her over here and having never run hydro, I'd like to hear how you feed her and general method overall.

Sitka-We currently have 4 moms in Roots organic w/ an added perlite layer at the bottom for extra drainage. Plants are doing very well being only fed RO water and an occasional half strength nute feeding once/twice a week. Will try and get some pics on here soon for you to see.

Straight perlite... flora nova nutes 5.8ph and yer shits will thrive.

I have run soil, soiless, rockwool, blah blah,blah... perlite is bomb fellas, cheep and effective... kiss some people call it
