hey! I'm starting a grow with a 400W MH, I'll probably use pro-mix, but I'm looking for the cheapest way to go with nutrients, I realy dont have any cash flow right now!

I was thinking of getting the advance nutrient veg/micro/bloom in 1 littre package, it seemed cheap to me for the first grow.

anyone think I'm gona need somthing else or has key products to sugest!

Thanks

hey u can go to starbucks and ask them for some leftover coffee grains..
ITS FREE-they will hook u up!
u can use them as a top dressing or just mix some in with your soil/promix
free nitrogen!
also u should get some molasses,,u can get blackstrap or just pickup some grandmas mallasses in your grocery store for like 2 $

Urine is free!! high in N..but be careful..not really recommended..but its an option.

If you want to buy one or two things..i would say pick up some GUANO :joint: they have some for veg and flower...if u can only get one,get one for flowering .
You can go to homedepot/local nursery and pick up some cheap food like ..bone/blood meal and/or some kinda fish emulsion fertilizer mix (i got one for like 7 bucks i think) its organic too..
there are lots of options if you dont want to or cant spend crazy money on all these grow food products.
I suggest you go to the ORGANIC section
there are all kinds of cheap mixes u can make.
Peace

hey east, depending on what size of setup you have in mind, i read from jorge cervantes that you can always just buy miracle grow "patio" food on the cheap. they'll grow fine, a little spindly sometimes though.

but you might re-think going on the cheap. i understand the need to pinch pennies for sure, but some investments are just too value-added. that's the food these girls eat. anyway, good luck with everything. growing is what makes life worth living. lol

hey,
i like fish emulsion for veg(5-1-1)(under 10$ a liter) and and grotek fishplus bloom or alska morbloom(0-10-10)(about 10$ a liter for either one). I prefer the grotek line but the other one is good too. The only downside is ph lowering which is easily fixed with some lime(cheap available everywhere and a good source of magnesium)
peace
