Best insulation for lining a room?

I need to know also, there is no such thing as 'smell' proofing the walls of a room with some kind of lining material is there? If there isn't I am sure it can be done, would be a good idea IMO.

There`s "Rockwool Slabs" for insulating stud cavities in walls that`re used for soundproofing upscale homes available through local insulation supply houses.........Peace........DHF...... :sasmokin:

kinder, as long as you have negative air pressure in the room with the plants, the smell has no place to go except through the filter, eliminating the odor. I like to blow smoke around my cab to watch the pressure in action.

Yea I have the circulation going on, I am just paranoid. A little extra insulation would have me resting easy... er more easy that usual. I have a 6' carbon scrubber + carbon fan+ vaportek+ ONA blocks .... now you can see why I was interested in the lining. I am in close quarters though, you can never be too safe.

Take a look at rigid foam insulated panels with the foil face.

It comes in different thickness. You can chrome tape it, and or caulk it with ureathane caulking to get the room tight. I also like the rattle cans of expanding spray foam to tighten up penetrations for ducting and vent or plumbing and electricity.

For sound deadening ya cant beat sheetrock for cheap and available. If you want to get serious look at these,

Georgia Pacific has a fiber board product thats pretty good if you can get it. Depending on where you live it might be special order.

Hushboard

Also looked at this one time but wasnt interested in batts.
