Am looking for something focussed just on Cannabis

You can learn more if you don't limit your focus. A good breeder has many advanced means for developing breeding skills. When one goes to horticulture school he doesn't tell the teacher he's only learning about cannabis. He learns as much as he can about horticulture so he can be an advanced cannabis breeder. Open your mind friend to as many sources as you can. There are many books people have dedicated their lives just for sharing what they learned. If you close your mind you may miss it.

I answer you with an old reply

Most of what I’ve gleaned so far has not addressed cannabis at all...one of the reasons I asked about cannabis-specific books. The general knowledge is valuable and glad to have it, but there are still plenty of misunderstands about cannabis that had their origins back in the hippie days.

I’m currently working my way through The Cannabis Grow Bible, and so far, it’s extremely specific about details and it’s very well laid out, conceptually - at least for me. I wish it were better illustrated: for example, I wold *LOVE* to see the ripening and release of pollen documented visually, with the actual timeline (that may be a project I set for myself) - the same way one learns to cook by observing the transitional states and what they mean.

I’m sure I’ll have other comments as I go along, but so far glad to find this.

Fukuoka’s One-Straw is a classic, should be read by everyone with any interest in growing things.

Marijuana Botany: An Advanced Study: The Propagation and Breeding of Distinctive Cannabis​

and the

The Cannabis Breeder's Bible: The Definitive Guide to Marijuana Genetics, Cannabis Botany and Creating Strains for the Seed Market​

Both on Amazon are breeder books for cannabis only. I'read the top one but not the bottom and the top one was ok, but so much to read.
