Best Digital Ballast/Hood combo 600w

I was looking at this setup.

I'd be running 2x600w in a 4x8 tent. Are these prices decent? Also, any quality bulb recs?

I run a 1000 watt dimmable quantum with that same magnum hood in a 4x4x8 tent. I keep it on the full 1000w constantly. Works fantastic! I'm pulling about 500 cfm's thru tent with an air intake of 67F and temps at tops of plants don't go above 77F.

This is just personal preference, but I don't like the Magnum or Epic or Raptor or any of those gigantic reflectors. I prefer something like the Blockbuster or Sungro. I feel like the light gets too diffuse using those really big reflectors. I might be wrong. Like I said, preference.

As far as bulbs go, you can't go wrong with Hortilux. 600s are usually more expensive than 1000s, so a Horti HPS 600 goes for something like 90 or 100 bucks, and the 1000 goes for 85.

Hmmmmmm, I am wondering how hot and how much the fan will run on that dual 600w setup. Also, you have all your eggs in one basket so to speak.
I'm in the process of setting up a 4x8 with 2x600 and am looking for the most reliable and high quality gear when it comes to lighting.

Yeah, that's the issue with the Dual. If it fails, that's twice the failure of a regular ballast.

As far as venting goes, my rule of thumb is 2 hoods/fan, 4 hoods/fan+booster. I'm talking basic 6" inlines. With 8" ducting, I'm sure you could vent more than 2 hoods with one fan, but I don't have any personal experience in that realm.
