I bought an LG LD40E for 110$ shipped new off ebay. It has a 5 year manufacturer warranty, electronic controls, ez garden hose connector, and uses less watts than other brands. So this is the dehumidifier of choice IMO.

Also you can get a Air conditioner that dehumidifies, so if you have 400$ get that.

a dehu add's heat i'd say go for an a/c with a "dry" mode

other then that your look more intake/outtake and fans in the room air movement would help

So far I have learned that Kenmore makes SHIT dehumidifiers. The Soleus CFM-40E appears to be the winner so far.

depending on how big the grow is, an A/C isnt going to do it by itself. The LG's are nice units. I have one

Ironically I have come to the same conclusion. I can get an LG LD40E which is the 40 pint version of the one you have for $115 shipped and its new in the box and would come with a 5 year warranty.
