I did research EVERYwhere for the best temp sensor. I returned a bunch because of how inaccurate they were.
This little guy cought my eye on amazon and it has a 5 star rating and its only $25. I took a gamble with it and its bitchin. What origional cought my eye is that this had an 1" exposed tempurature probe, and it updates the temp reading like every second, so no waiting 45 seconds for temp update. Its probe is stainless steel so its rust proof and its not made in china! I put the link below because I know how much of pain in the ass it is to NOT have an accurate reading. this is more accurate than my thermostat and I love how it updates almost instantly when you move it even from room to room it will go from 78.2 to 78.5 to 78.8 depending on weather your in a dark room or a room with electronics on that are heating the air nearby it will acutely pick up those tiny changes.... I believe if your going to do it, do it right the first time.
