What would be the best way to use coco in 4" net pots on a dwc/aero setup.? Im looking at botanicare coco with pbp nutes...any advice? Im worried about overwatering and fibers falling through the net pots into the res....

You can't over water a rooted plant in coco, so that's not really something to be concerned about. Anyway, the coco in the net pots will mainly be holding your plant, the vast majority of your roots will be in the buckets.

I've never used coco baskets, but coco coir right in a net pot would definitely be putting more debris into your system than you would want to deal with.

checkout coco in a form compressed called Crop Circles. Its might be what you need. It gives great root development and they come pre-washed of salts. Sorry i don't have a link.

hope it helps some,

What is the benefit of using such a small amount of coco? Why not just use Hydroton for DWC.
