Best Coco and coco nute?

First, who makes the best quality Coco?

Second, what is the easiest and most effective nutrient solution to use for growing in straight coco? I'll water by hand. I was thinking about Canna A+B, but have been told B'Cuzz is easier and a bit more effective. It sure as hell seems a lot cheaper. I was also told just about any hydro nute would work well with coco.

What is the best watering regimen for coco? I was told it is good to water with fresh water, then go back around all your plants and water with nutrient solution. Do this every day, feeding every day at very low strengths. Is this right? Any more detail?

I'll be using Coco for my first grow, so bear that in mind. I do, however, have experience growing other vegetables, and am accustomed to testing water chemistry etc. from working with reef aquariums.

Thanks!

Canna is probably the best, in my opinion. I'm now using B'cuzz coco coir just because the Canna isn't readily available around here. Both of the coirs are good but I think Canna has the edge.

I use A+B and except for PK 13/14 when it's called for during the grow, that's all I ever use.

I've never had a single problem big enough a flush didn't cure it.

I'm watering twice a day during my present grow but watered only once a day when I hand watered. It shouldn't be a two part process though.

Mix the nutes in the water, pH it to 5.8 and feed it to the plants. Keep your pH at 5.8 or so during the grow. Keep the pH around 5.8 your whole grow in coco.

Peace

im a huge fan of botanicare coco 5kg compressed bricks. Costs 12 bucks a brick and fluffs up to about 50-70 liters. Thats alot for the cost and the botanicare is ready to rock , no flushing needed.

With nutes I used canna A & B and canna pk 13-14 for my first run and loved it. Its very easy to use and a great 2 part nute. Very clean also , no grit or salts like i hear in other nutes. Im using House and Garden coco nutes right now ( ran out of canna and they sent me H & G free on last order). So im using H & G right now and seeing if i notice any differences, good or bad. So far so pleased.

Best of luck to you and your grow mate, hope my input helps

PS: one great thing about coco is you can throw your rapid rooters , peat pellets and rooting hormone. You can clone in 100% coco coir no hormone no nothing and get roots in 7 days

Just the kind of input I'm looking for. Thanks so much!

Are the 1L containers of the Canna A+B enough to last through 1 grow with 4 plants in 1 or 2 gallon pots?

When is the PK13/14 used?

Thanks again!

I just started using the H&G as well Mr.nevermind, I had FF in there before and my plants look more healthy already. A better green, more dark, and a oily sheen that makes the plants like like they are sweating/transpiring. I really think that these nootes will do better, everyone in my area is using them and says nothing is better

Yeah man, so far i like the H & G as well. I read somewhere that the guy who developed the canna coco line left and started H & G so i assume it the same guy and results shoudl be close. Wither way the H & G seem to be just fine by me. No grit or anything crazy like i hear with AN and stuff like that. just a nice clean nute. Plus with cost its actually a few bucks cheaper then canna . I just ordered another 5 liters of each ( H & G coco A & B ) on sale for $69 which is a steal. So i thin i will stick with H & H until i have reason not to

Im not sure how long the Canna nutrients last for, but Ive seen them used with fantastic results.

As for the maker of Canna, yea my hydro store guys tell me the guy who made the canna line made the H&G line AFTER the canna line so it IS better.

Theres a lot of sick ass shit about the H&G nutrients....

First off, they have you using their "drip clean" from THE START of growth....Just a littel each time to keep annny salts OUT! So salt build up never starts and you really don't have to do any mid flushing at all. This is something I found to be sick....haha

Another thing is they have you using cocos A and B together each time, so that makes me think they work together and do an even better job than just a regular nitrogen shot....The H&G scientists must have figured out that plants like all nutrients all the time just lower dosages eh?

A third thing is, as you stated Mr. Nevermind, just H&G cocos A and B(which is really all you generally need) are a cheaper than canna. Well it is 15 dollars a bottle per bottle of cocos A and B making it $30 for both. Well now FF big bloom and big grow are only around $12 each making them cheaper *BUUUUT* in the long run H&G nutrients has made their nutrients more concentrated so you have to use less of an amount during mixing....This means the bottles will last long than other nutrients that you have to use more in mixing with....Make sense?

H&G really brings a different green to the table, more lush and dark then FF did for me and I'm not even using H&G at it's full dosage rate. PEACE GUYS!!!

thanks for the info guys, i didnt knew about the guy who made the canna line made the H&G line AFTER, that is good news, and i have noticed the h&g have a very concentrated product making them a good choice wen chosing nutrients, im using some 100 % organic nutrient, from biomagno , and im loving it, but some friends that are starting to grow, spectialy the ones in coco, this should be the way to go!about the type of coco, i have used the one from canna, one from plagron and now im using some compressed stuff from bio nova, this is a very economyc alternetive, the price is 5.5 euros for 6 bricks that turn into 60 liters more or less, the canna coco can go up to 15 euros, so theres no turning back!!

I;m really liking An Monkey Juice, my first coco run was with Canna and had great results, this run with Monkey Juice is 4 weeks into 12/12 and I've had much less hassle with ph and the plants are healthier, the canna stuff burnt the plants a little as I stepped upto 1.8 ec over the first 2-3 weeks of 12/12, the Monkey Juice seems a little kinder as no burn at all this time.
