I would recomend NLxBB from female seeds...I grew out a pack and they are INCREDABLE you save all the potency taste and smell from the NL but gain HUGE yeilds from the Big Bud, pluss no weeding out males thats worth alot in itself.

I think Bog (breeder on this site - ask him!) uses Jack Herrer NL for a lot of his projects. As for me, Nirvana's pretty stable. You can't go wrong with this strain - it seems to be the "must have" strain for whatever you're doin'.

Wow, Thanx fellas for the quik response.
Verite: I'll look into Reefs pot as i do love his genetics, Thanx
The_Danimal: I don't know ne1 a this point in time but pm me on the possibilities for a clone, Sagarmartha def deserves a look into so that works.
Talktosamson: I haven't seen the female seeds NL x BB on seedbay can u tell me were to purchase those beans, Very interested there.
Subversive: Which BoG Strain exactly might have the JH-NL pheno? also if all fails Nirvana will have another supporter:)..

thoughts on nl....

thoughts on nl....

NL#5 from Reef should be available in a matter of days....check out the website and you can be sure those beans will be the freshest....fresh beans mmmmmm....

more thoughts on nl strains.....is it just my impression or has the popularity of NL strains been on the decline in recent years.....it seems like people became interested in more fruity strains like bubblegum and blueberry in the mid to late 1990s with a brief G-13 craze and then moved on to a more Diesel/ogKush flavoring at the dawn of the millennium.....any predictions as to what flavor is next?

sorry i know that is off topic.....one more thing about northern lights....it seems to me that the breeders who tinker with strains reached their goal with these varieties....they succeeded in producing a low-odor strain with minimal side branching that packs a sativa-style wallop of a stone (due to 1/8 thai influence).....maybe they were satisfied and went on to other projects....correct me if i'm wrong.....especially need NorCal input here...-gp :yummy:

i'll be growing northern lights in a month of 4-5, i'm germinating the seeds now and will see wich is the best grower who's female and then make a mother of here !

i got the NIRVANA northernlights grew them years back and made some seeds of it myself, using them now, don't remember how the smoke was, but i remember that there was one plant who i gew earlier then the others (2weeks or so) and i ended up bending it down for the height and it got a huge main bud , the plant was +- 70 cm tall and gave me 80 gr's dry !

I have grown out Nirvana's NL a couple of times now. When you consider the low cost for these......hard to go wrong......It makes nice, sweet, heavy, frosty potent buds. Good body buzz with some cerebral qualities....I will grow this again. Would like to try ReeferMans NL too.

the NL that BOG used for his Bogbubble is a (British Columbian Seed Company) BCSC NL#5, the one that BCSC sells is a 5th generation inbred, and should be very stable. This would be your best bet IMO, also they make a "Super Kush" which is a seed version of the NL x Kush clone that floats around, the NL kush clone tho is from N ewlines, which is no longer in operation.

I've not grown the BCSC NL , or the super kush..... but i have grown the NL kush clone from N ewlines , and it did indeed kickass, and yield well. a fine vanilla cream smell, and a smooth taste very similar to the smell.

Hope that helps some... I would link to where you can buy em, but it aint through Gypsy and that probably wouldnt be too respectful, but i can give you a hint :D

www.greenlife......com

or...

www.hipers.......com

also you can check em out directly at.... http://www.thebcsc.com/index.asp

supposidly tho their mail order service is not that great, i'd reccomend going through a seedbank.

That was High Quality nfo THCAESER K++ to you bro. I really hope I can get a hold of The NL X Kush Clone or Seed. THCAESER what is the main Diff in NL#5 and NL#9? Thanx again. Possibly we can bet Bog To do a NL X Kush and sell them through Gypsy Nirvana.

Hey Gypsy, hows about getting a breeder to develop the NL X Kush strain and sell the beans to the community? Maybe NL#5/9 x OG Kush
