Best bet for berry

Looking for a strain with predominantly blue/blackberry/currant flavours on the sweet side of the spectrum. Purple and black colors a bonus.
Ive found these pheno's in "indica" landraces and hybrids based on afghan strains.
The best ones taste great with a strong and euphoric effect of zero anxiety.

Ace seems like the place to look due to many of the indicas being described as having berry flavours, also Dj short is a good place to look for these type of plants.

My purple Malawi pheno smells like dark berry wine in the jar. I would imagine that malawixpck or Violeta could have some great berry flavours.

I think the PCK is exactly what you are seeking. They speak of flavors from berry to forest fruits to peach and the purple plants are supposed to be 1 in 3.

By the sounds of things you want Erdpurt or Pakistani Chitral Kush from the Ace menu

This is just what I was thinking - there is also early bubba hash and snow moon to consider (especially snow moon as Orient express sounds lush).

"Dark berry wine" sounds nice! A sophisticated smoke lol
Whats the high like on her as I try to avoid anything too racy.

Ye Im gonna go with Pck, and hopefully do some crosses (although Pck has been crossed loads already).

Only think wrong with the fruity afghans is that most of them are lower potency, which is consistent with what I found in PCK lines.

Keeping in mind I consider something like the infamous GSC cut, which has come out recently as Cherry Pie x PCK, to be of a lower potency than other cuts.

I'm not saying this devalues the line, just that it is something to consider and keep in mind.

Thanks for the heads up, I do notice purple weed in general isn't as potent as green.

GSC = Girl scout cookies?

i recently tried a couple of the suggestions here. although not a large population. my purple malawi is berry/orange peel. my lone malawi x pck had little smell, but great taste. lemon hash, not very berry... neither i would describe as "zero anxiety"

in effect and taste i preferred Tikal to both, it was much more of a feel good vibe... strawberry aromas are common... its not afghan and its not a purple. but meets some of your criteria

"Neither i would describe as "zero anxiety"" - This was my concern with Malawi, I like to be an astronaut once in a while but not as an everyday smoke - Im really enjoying @Thaibliss threads reminding me of those far out sativa's...

Tikal does sound more my thing - I believe Dubi said its one of his favourites too, strawberry sounds nice and quite rare -
I find lots of lemons in pheno's of various strains, some orange and even mango (among my favourite is the sweet sherbert mango terpenes that can be found in Himalayan sativas.)

I should also mention this is for outdoor above 50N which may welll exclude some of the sativa's, although Ive had some success with them I do prefer a fully mature indi/hybrid to an immature sativa.

Hi,

From our catalogue i would recommend you mainly PCK and ErdPurt hybrids like Violeta, Malawi x PCK (purple pheno), Early Bubba Hash, PCK x ErdPurt ... they all have great berry aromas and they are much better yielding and stronger than pure PCK or straight ErdPurt.

Hope it helps. dubi

Thanks Dubi, I should also mention this is for outdoors so early bubba hash sounds most suited, do you think snowmoon will finish around 50N?

From snow moon

Very easy plant to grow indoors. Outdoors can be grown until latitude 47º.

It requires average-high levels of nutrients for the whole cycle.

The taller higher yielding phenos could take 9 weeks of flowering to reach their maturation peak, although most of the plants ripe in only 7-8 weeks.

My berry Snow Moon took about 10 weeks, the white pheno 9.These times are from switch. So yes,8-9 weeks of real flowering.

Zitz, I think the Violeta would do the trick.
It's a total champion outdoors, even in my shitty climate. Very nice yields too (though not as much as the Malawi x PCK).
The flavours are as fruity as they come, it's pretty potent for a purple strain and the effect is very low-anxiety, it's got a warm. hugging euphoric vibe that's been working wonders for a friend of mine who suffers from depression and anxiety.
It's massively popular with everyone who tries it.

Just my 2p worth of opinion.
Peace, TEC.

Although at 50ºN you might be better off with the PCK x Erdpurt, it's quicker, a little more resistant if not as fruity in flavour, it's still got that dark forest fruit taste but there's also some of the more earthy and minty flavours that I associate with afghani plants.

Cheers, I think it could do it a little further north, they can usually go till late Oct here.

Sounds reasonable, depends when its triggered outdoors, hopefully before 12/12 lol.

Great info Tec, the Violeta sounds damn good, I guess the purple Malawi is alot more chilled than the "killer" pheno...
Would you say the Pck x erdp is of a similar effect?
Erdpurt seems to be a love it or hate it sort of weed.

what does Forest fruits mean? I took that to mean that it smells like nuts?

Good question, I took it to mean this:
