Best Alternative To Venting Tent Outside? Would Also Like To Avoid Drilling Holes In Wall/Ceiling

I've got everything planned out for my 5x5 tent grow, but this one issue has been holding me back.

If you were able to get everything setup for your tent grow, except for venting outside, how would you remedy this issue?

Im not worried about the smell since i have a carbon filter, but ive always heard that you are supposed to vent outside. I would vent directly into the room if i knew it wouldnt cause problems. The door will always be closed, but its not an air tight room, and the ac runs several times day.

I am also unable to drill holes in the house to vent into a nearby room/the ceiling, but am open to any other ideas.

My tent will be in a fairly large bedroom, and I am able to do pretty much anything except vent outside and drill into the house. I could even set up another tent to vent into if you guys think that is a good option. I can buy dehumidifiers or whatever is necessary. The bedroom does have AC, but the thermostat is in a different room, so it doesnt read the temperature of the bedroom.

Really looking forward to see what you guys have to say!

You can take a dryer vent hose and vent your tent out the window. You can get different size lengths. If you have no windows you can open, or holes going outdoors it can't be vented outdoors. .
Unfortunately i cant leave the windows open all the time, otherwise i would definitely do that.

Do you think i could just vent directly into the bedroom the 5x5 tent is in? Im using 1 HLG scorpion Diablo LED light, and im going to try to fill the tent with plants. I can get a dehumidifier if needed as well.

The door will always be closed, but its not an air tight room, and the ac runs several times day. The thermostat that reads the temperature/controls the AC is outside of the room about 15 feet down the hall though, so im not sure if that would cause issues. As long as the rest of my basement wouldnt be freezing, i could run the ac as much as needed.

I really appreciate the help! 🙏🙏

I’m currently venting into the same small room. It can be done but just know you’ll be fighting high temps in the warm season as well as increased humidity. If you can vent through window or into another room, that’s ideal

But, many of successful tent grows have been taking down while directly venting into the king room. Nonbiggie

Just make sure to dial as best as you can

Surely you can have the window open for short periods of time? Otherwise, a good dehumidifier will do wonders, but get ready for an expensive power bill.

Ummm....what size is your tent. LEDS you don't need outside exhaust, not in something like your talking. Keep it simple dude.

Your natural environment is the biggest variable. We don't know if cold/heat, or humidity is going to be your biggest issue. In the UK, it would be damp as your lights go off and temps lower with that undisposed of humidity. Some parts of the US, it's going to be keeping your temps down.
An indoor AC is going to keep temps down but increase humidity, an indoor dehumidifier will increase temps and lower humidity. I don't know what running both would do, besides making it cheaper to buy than grow.
This is why venting outside is the best option, but not always possible I know.
